We stayed for 2 nights and at first everything was great. We ran into issues the next day when we went to put something in the fridge and it didn't work. We thought maybe since we hadn't used it that's why it didn't feel cool. We had bought a sandwich and a turkey, cheese, and cracker box from HEB so we wouldn't have to leave the hotel for dinner for my daughter and I since she wanted to get in the pool after dinner. We called and they said they would come look at it but unfortunately it had already been to long and we had to trash them after they came to replace the fridge. The guy came and brought in another fridge but it did not work so he has to bring another. The other one he brought in was dirty he wiped it down but not well. He said house keeping would finish cleaning it up along with picking up all the water the fridge that was not working had dropped. They came in a little later but didn't even touch the fridge and the water was not picked up well. The floor was left real wet and I was afraid of falling. After that everything else was OK.

Great location, but super loud train all night long. Pool was nice but very small, especially for the size of the hotel. Excellent staff. Pretty A&M features throughout. Overpriced for sure.

In town for conference at A&M. Was across the street from MSC. Security at Hotel was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was excellent.

Mr. Sean the bellman, was so incredibly helpful. We had checked out of the hotel and left, and several hours later realized my daughter had left her stuffy in the bed so I went back explain to him what happened and he’s so kindly walked us back to the room open the door and sure enough her stuffy was still in the bed and the whole time he was so gentle about the situation and we felt very well taken care of.

Our families booked separately, and on check in , I asked if the could get our two families on the same floor. The got our rooms next to each other. Well done!

The hotel is great. Only negative thing I would say is that the property is very close to the train tracks and the trains pass by very frequently at all hours of the night. The property does provide ear plugs, but who wants to sleep with earplugs? This property would be greatly served by investing in a sound attenuation system or high quality glass that deadens the train sound at all ours of the night. Also the restaurant on the second floor recently changed their menu and it is not for the better. They don’t have a single healthy item on the menu. Cobb salad with fried chicken? Seriously? They should revamp the menu and provide some healthy choices. All in all, great property if you are visiting Texas A&M or attending a sporting event, but if you are looking for a peaceful getaway this isn’t the place.

Great hotel but just know you will hear the train blaring in the middle of the night.

However, upon entering our room on the 4th floor I was smacked in the face by the most awful, musty smell that lingered the entire trip. Maybe it was a room used for people traveling with pets. I don’t know but it wasn’t good. Also, the train tracks below (I did not know about this going into it but that’s my bad because I guess everyone else is aware) are very busy and very loud throughout the night and early morning. I counted 3 loud train horns just between 4:30am & 6am one morning. The hotel even provides earplugs in the room because of the trains. I wonder why College Station doesn’t make it a no horn zone? Arlington has a population of 400K+ and the tracks are quiet zones so we can all sleep at night. The last thing I didn’t love was the room cleaning. They made the bed and brought clean towels and fresh coffee cups but did not remove the dirty towels from the floor or the dirty coffee cups. It’s like they begrudgingly do some things if you’re going to make them (because sustainability) but they’re drawing the line at picking up after you. So overall, I gave it a 3. If location and amenities are what you’re looking for this is the place. If it’s clean rooms and a good night’s sleep, you should find someplace else. But honestly for $300/nt I expect all of those things from the same place.

We really liked this hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was like new and clean. The only complaint was the noise. We had loud kids staying next to us, but the management took care of it. Also, a train runs right by the property at all times of the day so it’s really annoying if you’re a light sleeper. They do offer ear plugs in the room.
