Good air conditioning and friendly staff.

Bad location. Shady people were all around the hotel and parking lot most of the night. Lots of homeless wandering around that area too. Didn’t feel safe. The shower hadvery little pressure and the temperature of the water changed drastically from time to time.

in good repair. This was not a safe area with many questionable people hanging around after dark. There was lots of noise in the room above us every night between 9 pm and 2 am. At first we thought it was furniture moving, but then decided it was dogs playing with toys and barking.

We arrived and were given the wrong

Nothing. It was dreadful. The entire hotel was horrendous. I am in the process of trying to get a refund as myself and my family felt unsafe with the criminal activity going on and couldn’t even check in. I explained this to the receptionist and she stated she understood as we have young children and will not charge us and she stated that they are trying to improve this behaviour. We can not believe this property is on this site as we believe it could potentially be a half way house. At the point of booking it did not have such reviews and of course if it did I would never have put myself or my family in a dangerous situation like that.

Good place to stay for an old hotel that was modernized. Hence the name of the hotel. Great, No frills, kind of place for the price.

After checking in (2 rooms), we found one room was smelly, had water damage, and questionable stains on the carpet. The second room had a mysterious powder (likely meth) on one bed and a blood stain on the second. When I complained, “housekeeping” (who seemingly lived at the property) came to the room and stripped the beds throwing the powder on the floor saying it was “just salt” and then said “there’s going to be some stains”… This motel, while only a block from the main strip, was surrounded by homeless people openly doing drug deals in the parking lots as we left. We also noted likely sex workers whom were walking the floors looking for business. My rate was “no refundable”, guess I know why now… but I refused to stay there with my kids. I’m writing this review in hopes it prevents others from the same experience or worse. It’s disgusting and unsafe. Don’t do it!

Close to down town AC did not work , illegal drug use in area , raw food on walkway to room, rooms were very dark inside and had very little lighting , room had broken glass replaced with foam and no lock on sliding window so you could open from outside and access inside door lock , pretty sure property is a halfway house , checked out next morning and only was refunded 1 of 3 days but only stayed 1 night. Stay away

Nothing to like. Drugs and prostitution. It was bad. We left 15 minutes after checking in. I didn't stop at the desk to complain or ask for a refund. We just GTFO.

Would highly recommend against any families staying at this property. They advertise as family friendly/welcoming, however if you are not interested in gang members, homeless people wandering around, and crime in the alley across the street then avoid this place at all costs.

Liked the motel staff. They were very helpful the motel was close to most of the activities that we were interested in

The staff, price and the location were excellent

You get what you pay for, so I’m keeping that in mind as I write this. I didn’t feel very safe there, some people lingering outside. It wasn’t clean in the room, a mysterious spill on the floor and pee on the toilet. Pillows were the worst ever, only about an inch thick. No extra pillows either. Beds were uncomfortable. However, the check in staff was friendly. Would never return.

A bit seedy - quite a few late night/wee morning hours noisy groups in the parking area hanging out - but for the price somewhat expected - staff friendly and welcoming.

We were not given the room booked online. The room had a broken bathroom door and the door knob did not lock. The AC didnt work. They offered to move us to another room but someone else came into the office saying their AC was also not working so we decided to cancel our stay and go somewhere else.

Too many tweekers and low lifes. There seemed to be a lot of vehicles in the parking lot that were gone the next morning suggesting partying and drug use. The people next to us were still up and hanging out yakking with the door open at 0300. suggesting amphetamine use. This activity seems to be rampant everywhere anymore at these downtown motels. Had to wash my feet as the floor was so dirty. I'll just stay elsewhere next time so we don't have to deal with this crap.

The pictures are not a good representation of the actual property. When we arrived it was terrible. We didn't even stay the night because we were so incredibly disappointed that we immediately booked a different hotel.
