WoodSpring Suites Colorado Springs North - Air Force Academy

The room was very clean and appeared to have new fixtures and appliances. The location was outstanding and within walking distance of lots of food options and a few entertainment options. The entire facility looked very clean and new, and my only three complaints are that the beds were not super comfortable (not terribly uncomfortable, mind you, just not the most plush), the blinds were not very room darkening, and also even though our room was non-smoking, we could detect smoke smell in the hallway because apparently there are a few rooms where people are allowed to smoke inside their room. I get the impression those might be longer duration guests. Overall, it was a great option with families.

The employees were constantly harassing guests with their walkie talkies. A few guests booked rooms in the hotel to interfere with police investigations. The police were at the hotel every other day. The hotel had plumbing issues and they were constantly getting hacked by cyber criminals. The employees did not reach out to their IT vendor and many were fired.

Clean, friendly front desk. Although a clean, basic no frills room, there was no hand towel provided in the bathroom.

Also, I would have like to check out and get my receipt earlier than 9:00 A. M.

Location Room had many cleanliness issues, the lack of staff in the morning is disappointing. Hallway smelt of smoke. Lack of soap and shampoo. Quality of towels were lower grade.

Clean-ish, but you can tell the bedding/ towels are old and need replacing. Overall the place is an acceptable place to stay, just don't expect extras or to be impressed. Zero amenities are offered. Very bare bones

Very basic hotel. No amenities in the bathrooms or lobby. No coffee makers. Has a small kitchen area but no dishes or pots and pans in the room. Front desk is not open a lot of the time.

The guests and their friends were very loud. The employees were very rude when I reported plumbing issues and some crimes. One of the hotel doors was vandalized and the police had to keep coming to the door. Some of the hotel employees became angry when I reported the crimes to law enforcement.

Some of the staff, guests, and their friends were very rude. Police and fire department were constantly at the location. I think some of the employees were fired. I reported a plumbing issue but don't think it was ever fixed and my reports were ignored.

The room was not clean. Pubic Hair in bathroom shower, floor and toilet.

I was disappointed that the following were not provided in our room: hand wash, conditioner (there was shampoo), hand towel, tissues, curtains to block out light, not even utensils were provided even though we had a kitchenette.

We were able to get an extra towel and bed sheets. Where do I begin? Place reeked of Marijuana no matter where we went to on the property. Made me feel physically dirty. My wife and I suffered headaches from the exposure. I definitely would not bring small children. The main beds mattress was thin and so old that we were able to feel the springs in our backs. It's been almost two days and my body is still sore. I wouldn't let my dog sleep on the bed it was so bad! Our son slept on a pull out couch. The mattress was stained with only God knows what! I had to ask at the front desk for sheets and a blanket, even though when I made the reservation, I noted that it would be three adults in the room. Our sheets were never changed, or the room cleaned. I will NEVER stay, or recommend this hotel!

Location is perfect. No WiFi and bed is uncomfortably to sleep, and refrigerator is noise and air conditioning is not working properly.

The price and location were good. The staff were pretty nice. The staff seemed The room was cleaned up but there were spots missed in the bathroom and near the couch. The elevator was broken and the stairs were partially under construction.

It was well maintained on the outside and the room seemed clean but had a terrible odor. Also we weren’t supplied with toilet paper or hand towels and no had to go buy them because front desk closed at 8pm. I also had to buy air freshener to tolerate the smell.

Nothing. We arrived late in the evening after a concert and were told that they overbooked and we did not have a room at the property. They did not offer any assistance just told us we were S.O.L.
