Hampton Inn Columbia

Breakfast was good. Manager on duty, front desk clerk and maintenance guy were very friendly. Pool was not open. Hot water in the shower was not working properly.

They could not find reservations after having confirmed twice before getting there that they had the reservation

The staff were friendly and the location was convenient.

Pool was advertised, not working. Tv stop working on the morning I checked out. The staff seemed sneaky

There was no hand soap in our bathroom, the door to our room wouldn’t close without the use of a key and the pool was closed our entire stay. We booked this hotel specifically because they had a pool and there was no note or anything letting us know that the pool would be closed.

The quietness 4 days and 3 nights stay, Room was never cleaned. Quite an unusual experience for me at this particular hotel

Rooms are ok When we arrived for checking in at 5pm rooms were not ready We had to wait till 6.30 pm for the rooms to be ready which made me not happy Usual check in time 3 pm If we arrived earlier to checking in there is a charge for it . But the hotel not giving us the room on time is not a good customer service

The room was not 100% clean. There was a brown clump on the floor of the room. Maybe it was a piece of a cookie. It was about 2 inches x 2 inches x 1/2 inch. I didn’t notice it until the morning after we slept there. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. We were given bottled water which was appreciated. The room air felt damp. I was hoping the breakfast bar would have yogurt. I didn’t find any. The waffles were good.

The hotel that I did stay at told me that they could have checked guests in manually. I don't know how true that is, but it was a horrible experience.

Pool wasn’t open due to broken water pump, which was disappointing.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean.

Unfortunately, there are 2 things this time. First, as I was making my reservation the price jacked up $39. I thought that was unfair since I was already checking out. Also the mattress had a deep hole in the middle, which made it VERY uncomfortable.

In need of a renovation, staff was nice and helpful.

Awesome helpful staff. Some things outdated, but was an overall nice experience.

Not much. My room was not clean - especially the bathroom. I don’t believe the tub was clean as there was hair left behind by a previous visitor. Also, the shower faucet had to be held while showering or it would turn the water to the hottest setting. I left a day early - it was gross.
