Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbia/At Fort Jackson

Very clean, staff overall very good customer service and parking well lit. Overall 9 out of 10..i would recommend this property to anyone on a budget but looking for comfort and peace of mind.

Staff were so nice. breakfast was sufficient. Floor in room were very dirty, had to wear socks in room and they were black after. Room needs. good mopping. Shower was very moldy around caulking. We had two beds, one was so broken when you sat on edge of bed it literally bent down. they need new mattresses. Cheap for being close to national park. Would not stay here again, but it worked for our visit.

We stayed at the Microtel Inn for one night after attending a concert at the Colonial Life Arena, and it was exactly what we needed. The location was convenient, making it an easy drive to and from the venue, and check-in was quick and hassle-free—even after a late night. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything we needed for a restful night's sleep was provided. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was quiet enough to unwind after an exciting evening. If you're looking for an affordable, comfortable place to stay after an event in downtown Columbia, this is a great option. We'd definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Overall, this was a great stay for the price I paid for 2 nights. The breakfast (waffle minis, muffins, bagels, cereal, coffee and juice) was included and a plus for me. The bathroom was a little outdated and the faucet piece actually fell off but we were able to put back together. Other than that, customer service was cool and not much noise other than the norm. I’d definitely stay again!

The beds were truly comfortable. The room always smelled fresh. The bathroom was beautiful!! The onsight laundry facility was so convenient. Breakfast was great!! 10 minutes from base. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay greatly! No complaints

Mostly clean and maintained Walls very thin ,we could hear people in other rooms talking. The room felt very small. The trash cans in the dining area were very full. I didn't like the sign they had up telling certain quests would have to pay for breakfast and there also was a sign that said only 2 sandwiches per guest and only 5 per room. If I paid for 4 people then I should be able to get 2 each. Honestly I didn't want any but it's the idea that they would limit the food like that. Also the little freezer was full of frost and the microwave was very low power. It took twice the time of my microwave at home would. Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel

Our room seemed very clean and up to date. The front desk folks were very pleasant. We didn’t use the WiFi because the local cell signal was strong enough for our phones. We had breakfast one morning and it was fine, fairly typical of a hotel breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location to fast food, gas stations, retail and Walmart!! Queen beds good size for mom and child!! I love hot showers!! Nothing comes to mind…

Clean, safe location and easy access to Garners Ferry Rd My first room was perfect, but the shade cord was broken and shade was up. The second rooms AC was loud and room felt moist.

Nothing. Staff was rude. Desk person was not on site and a young kid was watching the desk for her. It was 1:50 when we arrived. She came back because he probably called her and she refused to let us check in at 2:00 as stated on the website. She said her local policy allows it if they have a room. There were only 5 cars in the parking lot.. she said we needed to leave and come back at 3:00pm. We left and would never go back Staff was extremely rude and unprofessional

Check-in staff was nice. However, later that night I found it concerning that I was unable to obtain clean towels until 8:00 a.m. the following morning. Additionally, the facility accommodates smoking, which resulted in a large number of guests smoking outside and around the property.

Really enjoy staying here with the exception that my husband is warm and I am cold and there are never any extra blankets for me and the staff at the front desk said that this hotel does not carry any!!

As soon as I walked in I could tell the room was cleaned and disinfected. The staff were really nice and polite. The tables outside with the umbrella attachments need some maintenance but it didn’t take away from the vibe you get sitting out there. I sat there during the day and at night and the property was quiet and peaceful. The air conditioning works really quick which was amazing during my stay because it did get hot out in the afternoon. There’s also ample parking spaces.
