Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Columbus Univ Area - Osu by IHG

Refurbished hotel. Was nice but definitely dated.

The reception was rude when informing me of the 75$ deposit despite calling ahead and being told it was 30$. I also didn’t feel like the 15$ parking fee was worth it.

The room itself was clean and super nice and staff where great and patient. The pool area in the morning was disgusting like it hadn't been cleaned from the night before there where wet towels all over the place they didnt put any new towels out for quest to use when getting out and the breakfast was basic and unpleasant.

It was good other than the traffic noise.

I was heard for the cancer center. Couldn’t eat but looked okay. Bathroom tile in room 214 needs some help.

Not applicable My brother checked in before I arrived. He was given 2 standard queen rooms. I reserved and PAID for a mobility accessable room and a standard queen room. Originally I was told I did not reserve a handicap room and none were available. I provided a printed copy of my reservation and suudenly there WAS a room available. Ineffective training or attempted fraud? My first time using Booking.com and not impressed with your client.

Clean and excellent amenities Pay to park. I shouldn’t have to pay to park in the lot of the hotel I just $500 to stay at.

Staff was great. The beds were really comfy and breakfast was good. Booked through booking.com and I didn't realize there was a daily parking fee. I did go back on booking.com and found where there was a few however it states $10/per day and it is actually $15.

Hotel was clean and there was sufficient parking. Wish they had a restaurant and bar tho. At night it was VERY loud. Guests (kids) were slamming their doors until at least 2am and there was lots of hallway noise from, I assume, kids and teenagers running around so it was hard to sleep.

Breakfast was good. Beds were comfy. Staff was amazing. The second day there was no bacon.

Clean, friendly Poor security of pool and hallways, and had issues with reservations because their card reader was experiencing multiple transaction issues.

this was the nastiest continental breakfast i’ve ever had.

They were refilling the pool and we had to wait to swim! But it was an amazing time

Great location Parking was hard to find after the concert.

This property was OK to stay couple things that I didn’t like the price online for the parking assesses $20 per day however, when I arrive they told me it was gonna be $25 per day for parking due to seems like in Columbus there’s a lot of theft of cars or breakdowns going on during the night so they do Close the gates in certain areas of the parking lot after a certain time however they make it seem like the parking lot is completely private. It’s not the main entrance has no gate and anyone can come in at any time supposedly the staff members also the Security, but I highly doubt that because their job is to be customer service not to be on front of a security camera 24 hours seven days a week. My room was kind of stinky. I mention it to the front desk. They said they were going to take care of it when I came back to my room, my hotel room still was smelly, like stinky mop, and even the hallway. Now the good things breakfast was pretty decent. It was nice and the pool. The Jacuzzi was pretty nice too in the hotel area and hotel itself has a good present but it’s just those few things that I wanted to point out.

Very clean and staff were very helpful .

Had to pay for parking $40 for 3 nights. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The staff was excellent My kids enjoyed the pool
