Staybridge Suites Columbus Univ Area - OSU by IHG

The merchant (Booking.com / Staybridge Suites) misrepresented the charges. The listing explicitly stated a $10/day parking fee, but upon arrival, the front desk demanded $25/day and refused to honor the platform rate. I refused to check in and left immediately without using any room or services. I contacted both the property and Booking.com, but they refused to issue a refund.

Very good

Exceptional

nice and close to the stadium

The staff is very friendly, the lady at the front desk did an exceptional job of explaining everything? And what other features were available to us. I love the fact that there was security at night in the parking lot. It was awesome for the price! I did not find anything I didn't like! It is one of the few times I have not had a complaint about a hotel. I've stayed at! I have another conference coming up in march and plan on booking again.at this hotel ..

Everything Price is high if you don't use 3rd party booking options

Exceptional

The staff was nice. They required you to bring your own hoWetspot or firstick to watch TV???? That felt insane. Even the staff agreed it was odd. And after driving 7 hours and just wanting to let the kids watch TV while I showered, that was a huge letdown. It's also just such an odd thing to not provide, especially for the price.

Good

Exceptional

The staff was very supportive and checked in often. I loved the locked parking at night. The dinner options were amazing. Nothing

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Barbie, especially. The pins in the weight machine in the fitness center were bent, and so hard to use. Otherwise, the fitness center was excellent.

Good Nothing

Spacious, comfortable with a good breakfast Tight parking lot

The breakfast was good and convenient location. The hotel charge extra for self parking. The swimming pool wasn't cleaned well so.. we decided don't swim at all.

An exceptional stay that exceeded all expectations! The property was spotless, comfortable, and ideally located, offering fantastic facilities and a great breakfast. A special shoutout to Millie at the front desk, who was exceptionally helpful and kind throughout our time there, making the whole experience truly wonderful.

Parking is a little weird. Not having the $15 shown up front was disappointing & due to barriers, getting in and out took awhile sometimes. Outside of that, the service was reliable and the room was wonderful. Breakfast was okay. I had trouble with the drink machine in the morning (Not sure if that was a hotel issue or me being tired and not figuring things out)

Very nice place with lots of comfort! They charged me for Parking!? It's Columbus, OH. Not NY, not Chicago, and not SF. No way they should be charging for parking!
