Residence Inn by Marriott Columbus Downtown

The location is great for a concert at the hockey arena! We walked. The bad thing was the co construction outside of the hotel and then they started working the next morning at seven in the morning. That was annoying as we could hear it in our room. But that is not the Hotel‘s fault. We had a great stay at this hotel. I highly recommend it and the little bar that’s connected really did have good food.

Cleanliness and location

Very nice Reservation issues at first, my name had to be typed in inverse and I almost had to walk out of the hotel and find a last minute place somehow a day before a 3 day music festival. Thankfully, the manager stepped in and was able to find the reservation. But extremely nerve racking 10 minutes. Besides that- great.

Exceptional

The only parking is valet. Currently there is a lot of road construction in front of the hotel making it difficult to navigate finding the entrance. The room we were in was split level with a couple of stairs going down to the bed and up to the bathroom. Interiors lobby and breakfast area has cool architecture.

Front desk staff was wonderful and added my Bonvoy number to my reservation as well. Great room, great view, quiet

Cleanliness

Just what I needed! Hotel breakfast was solid. Glad valet was running even with street construction. Staff was nice too

Only parking was Valet parking... construction on the street made navigation difficult

The street was blocked off in front of the hotel. Parking was nonexistent. The morning staff was indifferent and hard to find. Breakfast was not a Marriott high standard meal. Not a good place to stay.

The room was very clean and spacious. A lot of construction and closed roads hindered our ability to navigate the city properly from the hotel as well as the hotel not having free parking.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful. One TV did not work and had to be repaired. The windows had peeling paint. Breakfast was good and the buffet was well stocked. Great location but there is a lot of construction going on.

Beautiful hotel. Big, spacious room, comfortable bed! Breakfast looked promising in the old bank vault, However when we went at 9 (7-10 hour to eat) there was no hot food to select. Understaffed for a busy weekend stay. Cutlery was limited, when it did come out, wasn’t washed properly. Hopefully an isolated incident because it had potential to be amazing! I’d come back to try again.

Some of the hosts were great, but some were a little rude. Wanted to order new towels for the room, and we had to fetch them from the lobby check in area. A bunch of people were down there for cocktail hour, it was just weird and uncomfortable.
