Odd being put in separate building
-
Hotel is very nice and great location for food and sporting events.

If you’re planning to stay at the Sonesta downtown location, I highly recommend requesting one of the “loft rooms” overlooking Nationwide Boulevard. These rooms are incredibly spacious and feature a stylish industrial, urban design. The building was originally a boutique hotel before becoming part of the Sonesta brand, and I’m so glad they preserved its unique character. The Lofts have the charm and ambiance of a New York City making for a memorable and a distinctive hotel experience.

Requested a fan and Melissa from housekeeping made it happen!

We always enjoy the Sonesta. We have stayed here for concerts, rodeos & sporting events in the downtown area. It’s close enough to walk just about anywhere we want to go for food, drinks or entertainment. The rooms, elevators and lobby are all very well maintained. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There is also a restaurant/bar in the lobby. Excellent for grabbing drinks, an appetizer, dinner or a late night snack before heading to bed.

Clean room, clean hotel. Homeless people sleeping on bench at the entrance to the hotel. Didn't care for that, Homeless should not be on the property.

The only issues that I had was that I was given misinformation when I called prior to arriving to ask about the parking. I was given incorrect cost of self and valet parking. When I checked in, the front desk staff told me that I had a $50 credit to be used at the restaurant. With that information, we ate at their restaurant. Luckily it was very good. I would stay there again.

The rooms were unique and cozy. The bed was amazing. Water pressure was great. Location was perfect for events. The lady at the front desk was willing to help us by coming with us to our room when our key wasn't working (we were at the wrong room!) Great experience
-
Check-in is super easy & staff was very friendly. Perfect downtown experience for a date night dinner & concert!
-
The $44 valet was outrageous along with the destination fee $23.60.My receipt said $67.60 but my credit card statement said$73.60
-
Great location and proximity to event locations
-
Great value compared to other hotels in the area !
-
if I had the opportunity for another concert or venue in that area to visit I would definitely stay there ....

Washroom in room wasn’t properly cleaned after checking in and it took over 2 hours before it was taken care of. Had issues with housekeeping not showing up at all. The fitness centre is well equipped. Access to the skybridge and convention center was very helpful and the connection to other hotels was good. It would be helpful if front desk staff informed guests about the skybridge and connections to the convention center/other hotels upon checking in since this is a useful feature. The hotel restaurant has excellent tacos and great service, would be great if they also offered room service. Hotel just needs to be renovated and front desk staff need to be better trained.

This hotel was great! The restaurant food was delicious! I really liked having to use your key card to get up the elevator, they make sure people thst dont stay there are not wondering the floors. It doesnt get dark till around 9pm and the room shades made sure the room was dark and made it easy for us to sleep. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting ohio.
-
Totally overpriced, the staff not friendly at all starting from the front desk. Rooms are average, nothing close to be worth almost $350 a night. Parking is expensive, the surroundings are noisy dirty and crowded. There’s construction going on that will wale you up very early.
-
Excellent in every way ! This is our second time staying on the Loft side and I have no complaints.
-
Nice staff was upgraded at the desk!
-
Two times falls fire alarms , we had to take the stairs from the 10th floor just to realize when we got down that it is falls. People who called the receptionist where told to stay in the room, they should announce it to all guests. Our room was big and nice we upgraded as we thought our daughter will stay with us , but ended up not joining, but the sofa did not have any sheets or blankets even though it was booked. Although we were on the 10th floor, we got a lot of noise from he roads specially at night motorcycles noise until 2am
