The Commerce Casino & Hotel

While the hotel staff is very friendly and nice, the atmosphere is depressing. The casino is not a pleasant place to be, and the Starbucks staff is not good at what they do. We mostly hid in our room and did not have any interest in spending time anywhere inside the hotel. And if you are waiting for an Uber, don’t plan on sitting down anywhere because the only seats they have near the entrances our chairs for the smoking section.

At check in they gave me the keys to a room someone was already in. I walked in on someone. It was a very awkward situation that I wasn't very happy with. That encounter could have been dangerous. The place is nice I've stayed twice already free valet, clean rooms, nice price. But that mix up was annoying.

The property was stunning. Nice sized rooms, though they ONLY offer double beds which are regular FULL-SIZED and on the too firm side. The property is a bit isolated, theres not much around, though you can find shopping a 5 min down the street at the Citadel Outlets. Other then everything is about 15 to 30 minutes away. Easy to get to and from the airport as it's right off the highway. The casino portion was okay, I expected slot machines and a little more jazz. But if you love cards and bidding this is the place for you.

Clean room

I enjoyed my stay at the commerce, Alex at the front desk definitely made my stay worthy of 5 stars, he was very friendly, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable by offering me a fridge and microwave, WiFi passwords, telling me all about the events the Hotel has going on and everything the hotel has to offer. The room was excellent, above and beyond, clean, had a coffee machine, huge tv, a desk and a lovely bathroom. I would 100% stay here again.

the room was dirty, hair on the floor all around the room. there was a door connected to the other room so you can hear everything. cannot make a cancellation and get your refund

Everything was clean, staff is nice and friendly but they need to hire more staff for the amount of people that go there. Also 4 luggage carts for the hotel is not enough for that hotel. We never able to use one checking in or checking out of the hotel.

Only table games no slots. They have a resort fee for a pool that is super small. Clean room.

My flight delayed 4x, and the hotels final check in time was 12am. I kept the hotel informed and even though it was nearly 3am when I checked in the staff waited for me and gave me a very warm welcome. They kept unlimited fresh water bottles around and it was free of cost which many hotels no longer offer. Staff was amazingly nice. The room was HUGE. I stayed for one night and would definitely go back again.

The staff was nice and very helpful. The room was big and very clean. We would definitely stay again.

I really liked this Hotel. Although it is really nice, there are somethings that need replacing in the rooms. I fail in the tub because I forgot my shower shoes and there is no rubber bath mat. Very slippery so don't forget your water shoes. The staff is very nice and attentive. I will definitely stay here again.

No hot water

People at the front desk were nice. Not worth what is being charged, no glasses, no refridge, very small room. Just not worth it.

There’s only a few things I think the hotel could improve on. First, would be informing customers (via booking sites) that valet parking is included in the stay. We didn’t find out until we self parked on the other side of the property and checked in. The last two would be providing the room with a mini fridge and a microwave. Especially considering they themselves have a restaurant in the hotel. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay and will be returning. Just hope they’ll fix those minor issues for other potential customers.

I would typically stay at a Venetian so my expectations were a little off. I expected Las Vegas Casino in LA. The room was decent. The bed was squeaky. It felt dated but clean just not as pristine as I’m used to. The card tables were full and you had to get on the list to play poker.
