Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa

On July 3, we did not get our coffees. Decided to stay there at the hotel for the convenience the service at Cays lounge was beyond terrible on Fourth of July. We got a table nobody ever came to clean up. I had to flip over the table cover because the other family that was there had used it up lots of food stains, etc. they ran out of food so I had to re-order and I never received my food. My family ate, and I was left hungry because my food never arrived, nor did anyone bother to check in a female any email were basically telling me that they were very busy and honestly didn’t really seem to care. Especially with the attitude that they gave me. I have been in sales for over 32 years and honestly, it’s a beautiful hotel but because of that experience highly unlikely that I will go back with my family very poor Planning several other families were complaining as well I feel this is unacceptable. It basically ruined our Fourth of July.

Make sure to take advantage of the amenities, bike rentals, boogie board rentals, and beach chair rentals

We always prefer a room away from the pool and activities area so this was perfect. Not enough days!

We loved the large spacious room with the lovely view. And we enjoyed the restaurant with its delicious food and view of the water. The bike rental was easy to use and the trails in the area were so much fun to ride! We will be back!

The location and the staff. Elevator struggled to work and why is there a parking fee??

My room door would not fully shut or latch properly. I reported the issue and requested a room change. Staff sent maintenance, who advised it was a door frame issue, but I was not offered a different room. As a woman traveling alone, being unable to properly secure my room did not make me feel safe during my stay.

Fantastic stay at the Coronado Marriott! The staff was kind and accommodating, allowing me to check in early. The food was delicious, the views were beautiful, and the location was perfect for exploring Coronado. Great service from start to finish. We can't wait to come back!

Location Was not upfront with cost parking fees and breakfast vouchers .

Staff was incredible. Very helpful on check in and out. Lobby bartender is great! Had a great stay.

I have gone to this property probably 5 times before this visit. The lobby was okay but the walkways to the room are stained with cheap indoor outdoor carpeting, paint is chipping and rusty areas. There is no security if you are a woman alone, everything opens to a public walkway along the water. The hallways to the rooms open to the outdoors. I upgraded our room for a view when we got there to have the city and bridge view. This is considered a resort so there are lots of added use fees and parking each night. I take issue with them making a big deal when we asked for the room to be cleaned each day (we stayed 3). There were the signs to reuse your towels too which I am not a fan of and at these prices seems cheap. There was no water in the room to drink and don’t expect any robes. We didn’t use the spa facilities so I don’t know about them. The view truly is amazing from the pool though!

Such a cute and peaceful little place, beautiful views of the city and bay! I will definitely return to this resort!

The location was really nice. It was a most needed vacation. I did not like not having the room I reserved before hand and then having to move to another room the following day.

Property was great! Everyone was so nice and helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. We were celebrating our anniversary and the hotels offers wonderful room upgrade options! The staff made it a very special and memorable occasion for my wife and me. Thanks again

but beds were comfy and staff was lovely - So it helped to balance the other things !
