Room service staff was kind and prepared. Somethings in the room needed maintenance. Like the sink had a funky smell of sewage. The freezer was not working in the mino fridge.

Not happy with the breakfast. Food was very bland. The planes at 7:00 am in the morning.

The Ayres Costa Mesa was an excellent value for the price. We were able to make a same-day reservation for a king junior suite. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is ample parking. Despite the hotel's proximity to John Wayne airport, the room itself was very quiet at night. The hotel was close to where we needed to go in Orange County. The exterior of the hotel is a bit dated, but the lobby and rooms were well-maintained.

Staff was super friendly and we appreciated the amenities of the water filter and very good coffee in the lobby in the morning. Rooms were nice and clean. Also loved the patio terrace! Didn't love having to pay parking, but the room rate was very fair.
