I am highly disappointed with my stay here. The cost of this hotel was incredibly high, but the actual experience did not match the price tag or my expectations at all.There are no activities, no entertainment, and nowhere interesting to walk or visit nearby. We spent most of our trip bored out of our minds.Save your money and book somewhere else that actually offers some value and entertainment for the price

The bathroom was clean, and the shower was nice. It looked fairly newly renovated. The room was fairly clean. The main issue we had was that the room we were in had an adjoining door, and the people next to us were blasting EDM until 4 AM every night. The first night we called, the hotel was persistent to deal with it and ensured it was shut off within 90 minutes or so. The second night we just played white noise to try to drown it out. If we stayed here again I would make sure I wasn’t placed in a room with a connecting door. Also parking was $35/ night and it’s not actually very close to anything exciting, so I’m not sure why. One night while we were walking in, my husband passed a cockroach in the lobby, which was pretty gross.

On the first day, when we arrived at 3:15pm, we were not able to check in due to a ridiculous reason. front desk said can’t get in touch with room service to confirm room readiness, and we had to wait for more than 15 mins. Note that the reservation confirmed check-in time is 3pm. The bathroom is very werird. The door is so hard to move and can’t close fully, the toilet is so so loud, whenever upstairs use toilet at night, we will wake up for sure due to the noises. The most terrible issue is room service. On the check out day, the room service lady knocked on our door (for both rooms) at 8am, asking do we need room cleaning service. This is so rude and has no common sense at all, it’s the check out date for us. Why waking up customers so early on the check out day, and asking the stupid question? Can’t believe this hotel is rated as 4 stars. SO TERRIBLE and I won’t recommend it to anyone.

Location, the view was beautiful, clean, peaceful, rooms were very nice and clean.

I felt the overnight parking fee per day was but excessive

Pricey but decent No complimentary breakfast.

This has always been one of our favorite hotels in Newport for a quick trip. The staff has always been incredible. This time the front desk woman had no idea what she was doing and needed way more training before being on her own. She was completely lost and kept asking for help but no one was too interested in assisting her. Hopefully the service can go back to what it has been in the past.
