Residence Inn by Marriott Costa Mesa Newport Beach

I’m embarrassed that I booked this place. The people we were with are not complainers but they were not impressed and let me know. Won’t stay at a Residence Inn again.

We are a family of 6. It was spacious and perfect for our weekend getaway. The location was great as well. Can me and stores and grocery stores all close by.

I wish these locations were everywhere, it’s like a second home. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Breakfast was amazing too.

Clean and comfortable. Coffee in the room was not good.

The double room was very spacious and clean. They are doing some kind of construction so we had to park really far from the room. Other than that, the stay was nice.

The hotel is in a nice location. I didn't like that I had to park quite a long way from my room.

Dirty room. Leaking refrigerator. Front desk said they would send someone to take care of it. No one showed up. Cleaning staff came in 3 times during our stay. Eyelashes stuck to the table, dusty hair tie on the dresser. Went down to the front desk on the first day the asked for pictures, issue’s was never taken care of. This was all after our check is was delayed 1:30, due to cleaning.

Bad

We loved the spacious 2 story penthouse. It had 3 accommodating beds and plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was clean and convenient and it had a full size fridge! We didn’t see any elevators, so be prepared to carry luggage upstairs if you’re staying in the second floor. I’m sure they would accommodate anyone who needs the ground floor for accessibility.

Please do not use this property. We reneted two rooms for the July 4th weekend at a very high prices. Both rooms had cockroaches. The faucet and showever knobs did not work. We could not take a shower due to the shower knob not working. We could not get it fixed due to long weekend. All in all, one of the worst stay.

Superb

Amazing staff. They were always extremely helpful. The breakfast was good and a big plus. The rooms are very spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Overpriced for the location. Toilet stuck and ran off and on all night. Pool is very small. Breakfast was just ok, no muffins for pastries just bagels.

Everything was awesome. We really enjoyed it. I wish we could stay longer. Breakfast was wonderful. The room we stayed in was big and comfortable. Love that It had a kitchen. We made cookies in the oven. Overall, it was a great experience and will be back. I did not like that. There was a parking fee. We stayed at other Residence Inns and there were no parking fees and to top it off when we first got there we got to park by our suite, but we went out for dinner when we came back. There were no parking whatsoever near us and I’m handicap so that would’ve been nice if they would have had a couple of handicap parking near our space. So I had to walk far. I did not like that at all. I asked him if they could waive the fee because I’m handicap and they said no no acceptance at all also breakfast should be at least till 10 AM on weekdays as well as weekends.

Room was great. Very spacious (with loft). Staff was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was great!

The staff is very welcoming to us and our pet, felt super comfortable and plus breakfast was amazing!! We were out there for Wienerfest definitely considering it again next year
