Great rooms for a good price.

Very nice property and great staff. Would highly recommend.

Everything was wonderful with one exception: air conditioning was effective but very loud cycling off and on. After awhile I was able to fall asleep. It was very hot day so I didn’t consider turning it off 😛

This is about twenty minutes away from the Balboa Peninsula, and a better price than other hotels closer. Our room was the two story condo with two bathrooms. It had plenty of lighting, and was clean. Our 4 teenagers and 2 puppies loved the space they had to play, and my husband and I loved having a separate bedroom with doors for privacy when the kids wanted to stay up later than us. The kitchen was stocked with a lot more tools and things than other inns we have stayed at. It was roomy, and the sink was even big enough to wash our small dogs after the beach.

I sent a cancellation notice through Booking .com. I never received a confirmation from the hotel that the reservation was cancelled.

Breakfast was decent. Bagel & eggs were good. Didn’t try oatmeal because it looked too watery. Loved the size of the King-Studio room! So spacious and comfortable, and had a small kitchen! I was in SHOCK when staff informed me that the pet fee was $150.!!!! They stated that this was the price whether you stay one night or one week (or longer). They also shared that this was for the cleaning supplies after the dog stays in the room. If that’s the case, these rooms should not have carpet on the floor. They should be hardwood. I paid $179. For the room, not including tax and you want to charge me as much for my dog to stay? It’s absolutely ludicrous! For this reason, I would never stay there again. I would only recommend this place to people that do not have a pet.

Good hotel overall but lacked a few working features. Staff was great and attentive and although we found some hairs by the carpet, the place was spacious.

The breakfasts had something for everyone. The only complaint is that the guests above us were very noisy. Their feet just pounded when they walked and at 1:00 am I was awakened to what sounded like someone running on a treadmill which lasted about 45 mins. When it stopped we heard shower and then was quiet. I tried calling the office, but it just rang busy time and time again. Saturday early evening heard this again and i tapped the register cover repeatedly and it stopped.

It was quiet...My room was recently upgraded and really well thought out. Service was good. The employees very helpful. I'd go back again.

Staff is wonderful there. However, they’re limited with what they can do. I have pictures of the outside, where there was a crab leg laying in the bed of the garden for the entire time we’re there. One day after I checked in, there was a bag of garbage dumped in the bed of a garden right outside my window. This is a old hotel, the furniture is uncomfortable, I was supposed to get a full kitchen because I needed bars in the bathroom, they can only accommodate me with a microwave and a stove top that didn’t work. I don’t know what kind of eggs they serve in the morning, but they’re gross! I would never stay here again and if anybody is planning on staying here, I get clarity on the room that you rent. I was terribly disappointed a Marriott property! Again, the staff was wonderful, but there was only so much they could do with a rundown property. Still waiting for Marriott to respond to me!!

I’m embarrassed that I booked this place. The people we were with are not complainers but they were not impressed and let me know. Won’t stay at a Residence Inn again.

We are a family of 6. It was spacious and perfect for our weekend getaway. The location was great as well. Can me and stores and grocery stores all close by.

I wish these locations were everywhere, it’s like a second home. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Breakfast was amazing too.

Clean and comfortable. Coffee in the room was not good.

The double room was very spacious and clean. They are doing some kind of construction so we had to park really far from the room. Other than that, the stay was nice.
