The Westin South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa

Overall great experience the only compliant I have is the pillows which is a personal preference I prefer 100% duck feather so comfort.

Wasn’t expecting some of the nicest and hospitable stay I’ve had in years. Raymound in the front was very accommodating and honestly everybody else we encountered. Comfy beds and solid pool.

I was very upset. I was not informed that construction was ongoing at the hotel until 5pm daily. The jackhammer noise was so prominent from my room, I was unable to relax, make a phone call or watch TV. When I asked the front desk for a different room, they stated the entire hotel was affected by the construction. They offered me a drink ticket. I should have been made aware of the construction prior to booking. At $300 plus a night, I was exceptionally disappointed. I wrote a review to the Westin and they said thank you we will take it under consideration. Sorry, would have been nice.

Very good

The hotel was very clean and well decorated. It would have been nice if the bar by the pool area was open. It is still summer time so I was expecting it to be available. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is clean and nice, but if you have a room facing the road it is very noisy. We had trouble sleeping. Our boys liked the pool but we are disappointed that there was no jacuzzi. Rooms are clean but do not have a microwave. The parking situation is a little silly, making you walk down the street into the parking garage. They try to push the valet on you. Overall a good hotel but not worth the high price.
