Costa Mesa Marriott

The location is wonderful. It is close to the beaches, Disneyland, Orange County Art Museum, Segerstrom Theater of the Arts, and South Coast Plaza ( high end shopping center)

Very nice property with a pond, lawn and walking trail. The way the other buildings are aligned creates a sense of isolation. The windows need to be cleaned and the slider to balcony barely slides. Unfortunately the Marriott has not caught up with times and provides water in cheap plastic rather than aluminum and hands out food in non recyclable containers along with plastic forks and knifes and little plastic half half containers rather than a coffee station. All the little things amount to a big mess of single use plastic that ends up in the ocean. Large corporations have large impacts, and the ability to choose if their impact is positive or negative, as of now the Marriott is contributing to humanities down fall. It’s an easy choice that cost more upfront but pays dividends in the end.

Our stay was beyond perfect! The staff was fantastic especially Jacob! He was very attentive and was able to accommodate with our request to have another family traveling with us be near each other on same level. Our room was ready for us upon long travel and had special accommodation followed through on and made our check in very smooth and quick! He was very kind and great with costumer service! Thank you ! The property was very beautiful and great pool! The grounds were also perfect for taking walks with beautiful surroundings and walking distance to many coffee and food places.

There was no sleeper in Our room and when I asked form the housekeeping, I was told they no longer provide that. There was no restaurant in the hotel!

The service we received was extraordinary. It was our first time staying at this hotel and the staff made us feel as if we were regulars. Definitely coming back!

The staff was amazing, especially the front desk and the bartenders. Marie and Veronica, I know her name began with a V. They both were so fun and made our short stay exceptional. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable. We really enjoyed it.

Place was nice and staff there are a hit or a miss.

One of our favorite hotels to stay at. Very convenient, clean and always a pleasure. Even when we want to just get away for a day, this is our go to and we don’t mind the drive.

The room division and size. The dark curtains The mirror in the bathroom The bed was really hard. I am 71years old and the bed gave my hips pain. There was no give at all in the mattress. The couch and toilet were low for a senior. I could not open the balcony door more than an inch and my son had to push very hard to close it
