Excellent place to stay.

Muy amplias la habitación, limpia, tranquilo y desayuno muy rico, altamente recomendable.

Clean

Room was nice enough and recently updated, but faced out onto Bristol Ave, and the sound from traffic was very loud. The bed needed a new mattress; I slept IN the mattress, not on it, because of how soft it was. Giblets on the carpet suggested the room was not vacuumed when it was made up. Nice bathroom. Was told this property was previously a Red Lion Inn; it kind of felt like that.

The best part was the location. It was across the street from my work which was the purpose of my trip.

Parking is available but not included, something that was not clear during the search and reservation process via Expedia. During the check in the hotel staff commented that reservations booked through "3rd parties" do not include parking, but had I made the reservations with the hotel, it would had been different. I felt the Crown Plaza nickel and dime this and penalizes those who book reservations outside their own system. Parking charge is $30 per day. For this reason, our party made the decision to have all the meals and drinking at other locations outside the Crown Plaza hotel. During the check-out, the front desk staff did not thanks us for the stay, however, in general all the staff thoughout the hotel was friendly and attentive.

Bathroom was overdue for maintenance. Sink faucet leaking constantly. Shower/door leaked outside.

Love the hotel! I love going to South Coast Plaza and the restaurant around the area. I always stay in the Crown Plaza and I love all. Clean rooms, easy parking, and close to different places. The New Port Beach is only 19 minutes away. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

We were there for four nights and the beds were so comfortable. The staff was exceptional. There were several maintenance issues as the property is aging I guess. One of the outlets Blue, the TV didn’t work the last night, the Wi-Fi didn’t connect, but they were working on it as a result the staff compensated us with a couple free breakfast and points. The pool is huge and they have a nice hot tub will definitely stay there again when we visit family in the area.

Front desk staff was AWESOME

The Crown Plaza Costa Mesa is very nice and clean, and it’s conveniently located near the 405. Amenities are nice and there’s a restaurant/bar as well.
