My son and I stayed at this hotel on July 20, 2026, and planned to stay for a second night. Unfortunately, we had to leave after discovering a serious leak in the bathroom ceiling. The problems actually began the night before. I tried several times to reach the front desk by phone because I had questions, but no one answered. I ultimately had to drive back to the front desk to get the information I needed. That night, we also had neighbors who were extremely loud and stayed up late. It appeared that one of the rooms may have been occupied by someone who was essentially living at the hotel, with friends coming and going. The following morning, my son and I took our showers. About five minutes later, we noticed water leaking from the ceiling above the toilet. Within minutes, the bathroom light stopped working completely. Because the leak was directly above the light fixture, I was very concerned that water had reached the electrical wiring and that the situation was unsafe. We left to get breakfast and immediately notified the front desk, asking to be moved to another room. The front desk employee's response was, "Oh, we'll have maintenance fix this for you." I knew this was not something that could simply be fixed quickly, especially since the water had already affected the electrical system. However, I needed to drop my son off somewhere, so I left and planned to return about two hours later to address the situation. When I returned, the leak was still active and the bathroom light was still not working. I packed up all of our belongings and went back to the front desk with photos and a video documenting the leak. The employee did not even look at the photos or video. Instead, she told me that maintenance was fixing the problem and blamed the leak on the customer in the room above us, saying he had apparently overfilled his bathtub. I explained that I did not feel safe staying in a room where water had reached the electrical system and asked for a refund for the second night, since we were unable to stay. At no point did I feel that my concerns were taken seriously. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the potential safety hazard; instead, I was given excuses and told that the issue could be fixed. I later contacted Wyndham customer service to report what happened, and unfortunately, I experienced much of the same response. I was told that the front desk employee had offered us a different room, which is not what happened. I specifically asked for another room when I first reported the leak, and I was told that maintenance would simply fix the problem. My concern is not simply that there was a leak. Things happen, and I understand that maintenance issues can occur. My concern is how the situation was handled. Water was leaking from the ceiling directly above an electrical light fixture, the light stopped working, and yet my safety concerns were dismissed rather than taken seriously. I should not have had to argue that I did not feel safe staying in that room. I am very disappointed with how both the hotel staff and Wyndham customer service handled this situation. I expected the safety issue to be taken seriously, along with a simple apology and appropriate resolution. Instead, I felt dismissed throughout the entire process.

The place is classified as a “Hotel”, but it is in face a motel, and a dirty one at that. I wanted a refund for the false advertisement and they have been making it extremely difficult. I checked out immediately after seeing my room and booked another place.

Nothing This place was disgusting period! Parking was horrible! Elevators were far!
-
Tiles were broken and coming off the floor, holes in bed spread, hair in the drains, peeling paint on the doors and hinges were rusted. We did not stay we cancelled and the front desk person didn’t seem to care or even ask why we were leaving. People were moving in to this hotel.
-
No electricity in the room. Toilet was used and not cleaned upon checking
-
It was decent enough for our one night stay there
-
The check-in was very quick, the access to the room was great. Unfortunately, the room was very clean and the peep hole was broken. There was a roach on our room the second night and hair in the bathroom. For a quick no other place to stay sure, anything past that I would not visit again.

Plenty of parking

The free breakfast was very good. The staff was accommodating and friendly. I had to call for a room clean the day before, which was not a problem, since if I didn't want anyone to enter, they didn't come without a call. The wifi kept cutting out; this was a problem. I switched rooms a few times. Each room came with its own issues. Not all rooms have personal wifi and depend on the other room to keep their wifi switch on in order for my room to work. My room bathroom door swelled and did not properly close. The hotel is run down. The "workout" room is a small room down many cement uneven stairs in a basement of an old building. I was afraid to use the elevator because if it broke, there was no one manning that building that would have heard me call for help. The pool was AWFUL. it is not cleaned daily and there is barely any chairs and lounges for sitting. The two lounges that were there were both broken. The entire hotel needs an upgrade and facelift.

There was no hot water and I was not offered a replacement room. The bed had lights on it so that every time I turned over, the lights would go off and keep me awake all night. The breakfast was absolutely horrible. The only thing available was waffles , and they only has one waffle machine and it did not cook the waffles all the way through. I definitely would not recommend this as a good place to stay.

Please stay far away from this place. Me and my two kids had over 100 bed bug bites! The rooms do not look anything like the pictures. The property and rooms are lacking in upkeep and maintenance. The rooms are dirty. The breakfast is a joke. When I checked out and asked if that room #338 had bed bugs the man at the counter stated La Quinta had no rooms with bedbugs. I showed him all the bites on my legs and he just stared at me not saying anything. I will never ever stay at any of their properties again. Do not recommend!
