Costa Mesa Inn

Room was nicely renovated. However, the AC unit was turned off upon arrival. It was very stuffy in there. Bed was comfortable.

The best place to stay in Costa Mesa. Remodeled spa like rooms, huge tv, comfortable beds and walking distance to everything.

I have a great experience.

Rooms are remodeled. Bright fresh environment. Beds are a dream, bedding plush very inviting. Bathroom’s are beautiful the amenities body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Patrick’s bar steps away fun crowd amazing staff.

This is the best little place to stay! Staff is friendly and helpful!

Just a little bit dirty floor that we had to wear slippers.

Upon arrival (3 PM), the room wasn't ready, the stove didn't work, the pool was closed, the hallways and stairs were dirty with cobwebs and trash, and the lobby was closed in the morning...

The room was so nice and cozy very welcoming! And the staff helped out with all questions I had and parking was very accessible!

Clean, comfortable room. Love the modern decor! Very comfortable bed. Loved having a microwave and fridge in my room -- very useful. Easy parking. Staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeepers did a good job. Stairwells could be cleaner (had a little trash debris). In-room AC was kind of loud and not that effective at cooling my room, but it wasn't a big problem overall.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Costa Mesa inn! They just refurbished the rooms and it was so nice and about a 15-20 min drive from Newport. Max the front desk man was amazing and so kind! We would definitely stay here again

This hotel was pretty good. The outside of the hotel was quite rundown and dirty and we did not know what to expect inside the rooms. The corridors between rooms had trash and smelled pretty bad. The inside of the room was pretty nice. The room was quite spacious and having two king beds was nice. The beds were clean for the most part except for some chewed up gum that was on the bedframe. The towels under the sink had a few dead bugs on them and there were stains on the towels. The water in the shower only stayed hot for a few minutes. The pool was completely torn up and the walls are very thin so everything from outside the room and in the parking lot can be heard in the room. The AC worked okay but it really didn't cool down the room and was quite loud. The blinds were also broken so there was no way to open them in the morning.

This is the old property that has been remodeled. Rooms look very modern inside with a huge TV attached to the wall. Nice bathroom with tiled shower tile. There is a microwave and a refrigerator. A bathroom sink is located in the room though next to the bathroom. There are two king size beds with lots of pillows. TV service includes DirecTV, Netflix, etc. and Wi-Fi. No amenities. There is a pool but water is drained. An ice machine and a water station are in the lobby. This is a good place to stay for a night or two.

The shower door doesn't close all the way, One of the bed floor lights doesn't work. Otherwise the room is perfect.

The staff wasn’t helpful at all. I told them about someone in the room above mine who was constantly walking back and forth. They said they couldn’t do anything to help. I asked when the person was going to check out they said the next morning. The next morning I assumed the person checked out because I heard furniture being moved around the room. Maybe a bed being pushed back into position from clear accross the other side of the room. I was gone all day and when I got back to the hotel late that night. I was greeted with someone walking back and forth in the room once again. This continued until well after midnight. And again at 4:00 AM and again at 7:00AM. So not only was I lied to about when the person was checking out. But it almost seemed like the staff was covering up for this person. Because when I checked out on Monday morning I let them know about the incident. And the same person who I complained to before was dismissive like she knew about other complaints that she might have heard from others. Also the pool is in complete disrepair. Funny since the picture for this property shows a pool.

Great place too stay. Only thing is wish the pool had water. But other than that excellent stay.
