OC Hotel Costa Mesa

Not A hotel for long stays, we stayed one night and that was fine. The room could use a little more cleaning. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking.

Breakfast was plentiful. The only négative point was a somewhat déficient replacement of toilettetries by maid service during our 4 nights star.

Because of the condition of the room, we told the front desk we would be shortening our stay, but due to limited availability nearby, we were forced to remain for two nights. We placed clean sheets over the comforter to avoid touching the stained bedding and kept our luggage on one side of the bed to avoid the contaminated areas. The room door stuck and required force to open, and the walls were extremely thin; loud “frat house” noise from the adjacent room continued all night. Parking was very tight, and we feared our car would be dented on both sides, but luckily, the car was not damaged. The staff apologized and offered a 50% refund, which should have been $323.92, but the receipt only reflected $238.12. Between my cousin’s charge of $247.27 for Friday and my charge of $400.58 for Saturday & Sunday, the experience was stressful, unsanitary, and not worth the cost. This property needs major improvements in cleanliness, sanitation, and accuracy of online representation. I would never stay here again, nor would I recommend it

However, we were traveling with kids and had a downstairs room. We stayed for 3 nights, and 2 of those nights were rough because of the people upstairs. They were up until around 2:45 AM one night, and the kids couldn’t sleep. It honestly sounded like they were moving furniture around! Our recommendation would be to choose an upstairs room.

Amazing no complaints

Only needed a bed for the night as we was spending the whole day at the beach, location to the beach was a 20min taxi ride. The location and value for money suited us. Nothing to complain about.

My son enjoyed the swimming pool and the hot tub, but it could have been a little cleaner. There were used towel laying around pool area. The room was decent overall for a one night stay for the price can't really complain too much.

The Hotel is an excellent place to stay. It was very clean and well maintained. I loved the shower as well. The Pool and the hot tub were both very inviting The only thing that will keep me from staying there again the breakfast needs to be a real breakfast. I need beacon and eggs for sure! Either have a full breakfast or no breakfast at all. The contention breakfast do not work for me.

Location, staff, price etc etc Mattress

Location, walking distance to pacific amphitheater, OC fairgrounds was great! The pillows are small and too firm for us. The ice machine was not working.

The staff were welcoming and very helpful. They accommodated a very early checkin for us and let us move rooms to one that suited our needs better. The breakfast was great!!

Everything was outstanding and would definitely book again. Thank you!

I stay there twice a month they are always nice and accomadating. Love this place!

Some people were fighting around 12:30am.and no one did anything to resolve the problem. They were shouting so loudly and throwing things at each other, they woke me up; I became very nervous and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night; it really scares me because the door didn't close properly; it was missing the top safety latch.Finally around 7am.I went to the office to report the incident, and it seemed like they didn't care at all.
