Kimpton Pittman Hotel – Downtown Dallas by IHG

Perfect location to explore the Deep Elum area. For two people staying the room only had one chair so when in the room one had to sit on the bed.

Great location across the street from Deep Ellum, very clean and comfortable. Can get very noisy and loud at night

Restaurant food choices were odd.

Good location, nice hotel with on-site restaurant Everything was ok. I had no problem with noice from the street that others have complained about.

the elevator is beyond ridiculous, 15 min waits front desk help , rude and surly

Great location and super close to the music venues, food and a surprise Patagonia shop. Fun stay!

Valet was super nice compared to the other staff AC kept me up all night for our two night stay, the shower had orange slim on the walls, the staff that checked us in didn’t even tell us about the coffee and happy hour, room service didn’t even work when I called,

Nice rooms and staff The location was very noisy. Right next to train tracks and bars with loud music and bass that you can hear until 2am. Couldn’t sleep.

It was very modern and clean Lack of parking.

The lcoation They gave us the wrong room. I had to fight to get the right room. No breakfast available. The power went out so we were unable to do anything. No coffee in room.

Very cool building, the pool was nice. I liked having an actual bathtub in the bathroom. We never had to wait on an elevator. Cookies and lemonade at check-in was nice. The pool only gets morning sun. The pictures on the website are a little misleading as far as sun exposure. There was a stain on the bed sheets when we took the covers back. Housekeeping was prompt when coming to change the sheets, so that was appreciated. One other thing was a hair (most likely pubic) on one of the windowsills.

I loved my suite! I specifically chose this hotel for a staycation because of the soaking tubs they offer, which was amazing for my bubble bath. It was 10/10 stay overall. Some complain about noise level due to close proximity to clubs/bars, but I wasn’t bothered by much noise, if any at all. I appreciated the champagne service upon check in and fast valet services. :) Although valet was fast, I typically prefer to self-park which was not an option.

I have owned a business in Deep Ellum for twenty years, and excitedly watched the construction of this lovely hotel complex. It’s a wonderful addition to the neighborhood, gorgeous, and modern, and the vibrant scene surrounding it is one of my favorites. I also really love how the namesake historic Pittman building was incorporated into the beautiful design. Having frequented the restaurant and bar, it was a treat to stay as a guest. Highly recommend!

Hotel, staff and location were excellent. No coffee making facilities in the room.
