They add a $30 Destination fee or $30 resort fee per night onto your stay when you check in. So the price on Expedia is not the price that is advertised. When I called to complain they refused to give me a credit or return my money. Marriot has been sued before for undisclosed fees by the Texas Attorney General and Marriot continues to charge them.

Our entire stay was great. Nice location. Food was great.

The hotel is massive—multiple towers, tons of floors, and true to the "everything is bigger in Texas" motto. Our room was clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and fully functional. Throughout our stay, the staff was incredibly polite and helpful. Tip: Opt for the valet parking, as the public parking options require quite a long walk. On Saturday morning, we tried the breakfast buffet at Open Palette. At $25 per person, it offered excellent quality and a great variety of options. In today's economy, it’s well worth the price, especially given the stellar service. The city was hosting FIFA events, but despite the hustle and bustle, the waitstaff was exceptionally attentive and responsive the entire hour we were there. In short, it was a fantastic experience all around!

Ridiculously overpriced. Refrigerator didn’t work. Shower door would not stay closed. Ridiculously overpriced.

The air conditioner in my room was ineffective at best. Not only was it hot in my room, It was hot on the entire floor and it made it very difficult to sleep. I ordered a fan and it took them over 2 1/2 hours to deliver it. Also, a random person just entered my room at eight in the morning without identifying themselves.

Very good, clean downtown restaurant with an excellent store with breakfast food, excellent coffees and teas. Our bar waitress was superb. Sports bar had plenty of TVs for the World Cuo

Great!

Looking at the mob line-up (with many receptionists), I asked a hotel employee if this is usual or just this particular time slot, something I should avoid getting away for 30 min or one hour to come back to. Two different employees told me that the World Cup and some group check-ins are taking time. They were neutral, not recommending I go away, and not telling me that it would be a long line, more or less the same as later at a major airport's security line. The receptionist told me that it is the largest hotel in Northern Texas with over close to 1,900 rooms, and the situation is always like this. I did not expect this. I was lucky I did not have a business appointment lined up in the evening. I would have liked to know in advance.

FedEx package services tainted my stay. I will actively avoid booking Marriott if I find out they use this in other hotels.

Everything was great!!!
-
Compared to surrounding venues, drinks their bar were overpriced.
-
Staff and rooms were both wonderful
-
Nothing further to add Not being able to unload luggage at hotel entrance as this was only for customers using valet parking
-
It was a comfortable stay, it’s a great hotel with lots of amenities.
-
It was a nice area and hotel, comfortable bed and pillow Didn't like that we got a surprising fee of $29 ea day for a destination fee!
-
The hotel was not to expectation especially with such a high cost. Many amenities like the elevators seemed outdated and improperly maintained. The TV in my room had a giant crack down the middle of the screen and the bathroom was not the most clean environment.
