Residence Inn by Marriott Boston North Shore/Danvers

Entrance is hard to see due to construction & if you miss it, you will have to drive several miles to be able to turn around & come back. Breakfast had quite a few options. Bed was comfortable.

Staff members at the front desk were pleasant and helpful.

Extra space was nice compared to hotel. Getting rundown and threadbare. Shades and drapes tattered and dirty. Needs a refresh big time.

Staff was super friendly. Good size suite. Everything seemed pretty clean except a few spider webs on the bathroom ceiling. Breakfast was 10/10.

breakfast was better than the usual hotel of this type with free breakfast we had to change rooms when we arrived due to a gas smell in the room we were given. Odd as seemed no gas appliance in the room. next room was perfectly fine no issues.

The only thing that wasn’t so great about our stay was the people above us were making so much noise above our heads when we were trying to sleep. I don’t know if they were having a party and I was so exhausted that I didn’t even think to call the front desk, didn’t know the number tbh. I didn’t want to make a fuss but that was the only thing.

Everything was great in the apartment. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. It gave us the option to cook or not. All the kitchen equipment was spotless and clean. The breakfast was good too. I like the idea of some of the food changed everyday. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Nicholas at the front desk gave us some important information and that helped us to plan our day. The bathroom was a bit small. I couldn’t even walk around it and the toilet seat was for small people like me.

The kitchen was great. It had everything you needed to make a meal and clean up. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. The pullout couch needed to be moved before you could pull it out. When it was opened it was hard to move around it.

the kitchen was nice. The location was good. On Wednesday the maids blocked ALL the exits to our room with their heavy carts and then disappeared into other rooms trapping us in the room. Also the door to the bathroom just barely cleared the toilet and the bathroom was SMALL. Also door keys kept losing their functionality. Lastly there is a large construction project happening in front of the property making access to the property challenging and many large trucks turning into the property to access the construction site making egress from the property hazardous at times.

We stayed a night at the hotel and were impressed by the friendly staff and excellent breakfast.
