What I found unusual was no cups in the room and when I asked, was told to go to the office for coffee cups (I did.) There wasn't a pen to be found nor slip of paper; again I was told to go to the office to borrow a pen (I did and returned it- branded for the Knights Inn.) My two reasons for not returning are 1. The front staff seemed flat and rote- handed things back and forth with no smile or welcome. That was true both days. Nothing was told about wifi or calls or breakfast at all, only our room number. 2. Breakfast was not palatable.( I travel frequently and always find a continental breakfast addition.) The muffins were beyond stale and we actually took one out and were able to bounce it on the sidewalk. We tried the waffle mix- it had soured or been mixed wrong and even my son couldn't eat his. There were toast/bagels which we did not try and fruit which was fine. There was a coffee and orange juice dispenser. We had to go get breakfast on the road but took a banana with us.

First off. This is a motel. More of a pit stop. NOT a hotel. Second off for a motel it is pretty pricey which is crazy. Our bed was horrible. The floors were dirty. THE TOWELS HAD HAIR ON THEM, so disgusting. So disappointing. Honestly, don’t waste your money.

Very clean. Neely remodeled rooms. Excellent stay.
-
Great space to stay if you’re visiting Salem. It’s a short drive and rooms are clean with nice big showers!

This is a motel not a hotel. When we arrived on Friday there was hair in the toilet and shower. My daughter woke up with a rash and the milk at breakfast was old and lumpy. When I approached the front desk on Saturday morning to see what could be done Adiv stated there was no way to reach the next level of escalation Cindy until Monday.

The room seemed to be updated but it doesn’t seem it wasn’t done by a professional. The first night we got there the younger guy behind the desk was so rude! The next morning went for breakfast and the waffle batter was sour and disgusting. Expired!!!

Breakfast was ok. I did like the real 1/2 & 1/2 for my coffee. Some kind of protein such as eggs, bacon or sausage would be nice. The price, too expensive for what it was. The damage deposit,.I've never had to pay a damage deposit before and I took pictures of the room to be sure Northshore is honest about refunding that deposit.

Close to Boston, affordable.
-
No cups in room to brush teeth. No coffeemaker. Floor delaminating. 3 separate transactions for room, damage deposit and pet fee. Evening/night staff unfriendly and difficult to understand, morning staff much better

I did not eat breakfast there. The location is difficult to find but worth the effort. As I drove in on a busy evening, I was a little wary that there were so few cars in the lot, but I had no complaints about the room and the cooperation I had with the manager as I had to change my reservation several times as my plans changed. I would stay there again…and I am a seasoned discriminating traveler.

Convenient location, very clean, friendly staff. Difficult to find initially upon pulling into the parking lot. Follow the arrows around back.
-
Nice staff, very friendly when checking out. Room was as described. Clean and recently renovated.

Handle on dresser was broken and hanging on. Bathroom was disgraceful. Broken tiles and mold. I have pictures for proof.
