La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Davenport & Conference Center

Nothing. I will never return to this property We arrived and I was told that the precheck in was not done even though I did completely it. I was double charged for the dogs and had to have the bank remove it since they would not. The person behind the desk talked in a way that was barely audible but when he was outside with his friends the next day he was loud enough to hear across the parking lot. The pool was closed even though when I called the day before about the dog policy that said no dogs were allowed I was told that it was open. Then the room was partially cleaned. They seem to only clean what you can see. But someone who knows how to clean properly saw the dust everything like the TV and coffee pot. The "store" they advertise is a cooler that was completely empty. The outside of the property was not kept up with even basic needs like a simple walk around with a broom to clean up the garbage. And the grass and weeds look like they have not been cut in a month. I don't expect perfection but after all the hidden fees and the fact you are advertising your a Wyndam facility I do expect the property to be upheld and not to be lied to by employees.

The room appeared to be half updated. There was a noticeable odor when we 1st walked in the room. The bathroom was clean. The beds were comfy. The couch was pretty disgusting to be honest. It was covered in stains. The hotel seemed to have a theme... "Out of order". The pool, the lobby restroom, the pancake maker. The beverage cooler in the lobby was empty. The shelves to purchase snacks were empty. At breakfast, the bread box was empty- no bread for toast, no muffins, no croissants. They did have biscuits and gravy.... The gravy was actually very good. Scrambled eggs with standing water top. This was totally a case of .. you get what you pay for. I've stayed at worse places. The pictures on the website are very deceiving. If you lower your expectations before you get there, you'll be fine.

We did not stay the night. The air conditioner in the room did not work and the hotel was booked so we had to find another hotel to stay in

We had to wait over 30 minutes to get our room despite showing up after 3:00pm. The couch and chair had white stains on them. I also was charged the $75 deposit for no reason at all.

Room was clean. Area was safe. Proximity to stores, restaurants, gasoline, interstate was perfect. Would stay again

Air conditioning unit seemed to be on the Fritz

Chipped paint, carpet bunched up and uneven, no one at the check-in when I arrived, went to our two rooms and both of the rooms had people's bags in them. Went down and were given new rooms, one of the new rooms had dirty towels, a clogged toilet, and the room was disheveled. Shower head wasn't strong enough to utilize the pressure of the settings so it mostly just poured out. Corner of the bathroom appeared to have mildew or the start of mold. Pool only had a couple of towels available. Elevator felt somewhat unsafe and the button didn't even light up. Tried to take the stairs but the carpet bunching and general unevenness made it seem more unsafe of an option than the elevator. Sometimes the room wouldn't lock. Would have to open and close it a couple of times before it would actually lock. We weren't there for long but it definitely left a negative impression. If there are other options, take them!

I would give this hotel negative stars if I could! Looks NOTHING like the pictures and reviews. It was absolutely disgusting! The real cherry on top was the BED BUG I woke up to. I will NEVER stay at a La Quinta Inn ever again! Stay far away from this hotel!!

Nothing was good except location Cockroaches!! The room was filthy, white crusty spots on the chair, dirty bedding, mold, unknown splatters on many surfaces. Filthy. So we tried to switch rooms, but the second was in worse condition, seems like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. Then around midnight we noticed cockroaches all over. Terrible stay, I couldn't sleep it was so bad.

We did not eat- place was unsanitary!!! The room was unsanitary, the building is old and has a lot of leaking tiles.

The pool was very big but, I would be Very cautious if you have children because there are no stairs to get in the pool just a ladder. It definitely could use some upgrading. The floors were dirty and the ceiling was looks ran down. Our hotel room was OK. Check the beds for bedbugs ECT and found none. Only thing is if you get the room with the double beds, they are kind of small. I think they were full-size. Other than that, I give it a 2.5 if you need a quick place to sleep and leave would not book for a family vacation though.

I was told I would get my deposit refunded and it’s been over a month and still no refund nor has another returned my calls. I know for a fact our room was left in great condition when we left. It was only myself and my two daughters we were in town for a soccer tournament but I will never book at this hotel again! Hotel was gross and the doors that required key card entry were never actually locked so didn’t feel safe staying there by myself with two kids.
