Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Dayton Downtown

Location was great, showers were nice and large and breakfast was good for price. Overall nice hotel for location and price.

Property well maintained and the breakfast was superb.

The king room was very spacious, being a corner room at the front of the hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The only thing out of place was a long rip in the carpeting. Found out later from the building engineer, the building has been settling and all the corner rooms have the same issue. He's complained but because the hotel is slated for renovation, they're waiting until then to fix them. It's not a deal breaker but you do notice it. We were barely able to catch breakfast which was tasty, love the self-serve waffles.

The staff were amazing. The proximity to the downtown was excellent with plenty of places to eat, and a small grocery store nearby. Across the street from the baseball park as well.

It's next to I-75 interstate on-ramp so you can really hear just how loud trucks and motorcycles accelerate. We were not advised at ck in that King bed rooms were sold out even though we had a king room reservation. front desk was not accommodating and even suggested if we only use 1 bed that it would be easier on housekeeping.

Good location. Great view out of my room. Go eat at Canal St Deli and Arcade - I took food to go from there both nights and it was fantastic.

IT WAS PERFECT, EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED

I booked this hotel room at the wrong location and immediately contacted the staff to try to cancel my reservation. They were unwilling to give even a partial refund or give any consideration to my mistake. Very disappointed. Paid $200 for a hotel room that we didn’t even stay in.

I didn’t like that they made me download the parking app.

The parking situation is like musical chairs. Even though you are assigned a parking space, it seems like the only people that enforce that is the front desk.

Front desk clerk Lisa was amazing. This was my first time visiting Dayton and she made me feel welcomed. I tried every restaurant she recommended and they were all delicious . Thank you
