Dream Inn

Late check-in was a nightmare even though I called the morning of to let them know we would be late because of our flight...no problem, I was told. Followed the instructions I was given and it still took a long amount of time to get someone to answer the phone (repeated phone calls), which never happened. We continued to stand outside, with our baggage, as we listened to a family in a heated argument on the balcony above us. Someone finally found staff to check us in. We were going to be checked into a room that was not even clean or ready....this was at 10:30 at night. It was not even the correct room based on what was shown on the Expedia website, so we had to pay additional money for the correct room, per the owner, who was less than reasonable. The property was not very well maintained as to what was advertised. I have never written a negative review before, but this property and owner has earned it. The owner refused to make it right. Very disappointing....

Beach was just a minute away from our room; proximity was fantastic! Check in was flawless and the room was clean. Anything extra we needed (coffee or towels) were just a call away. Staff were friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend and we will visit again when we need to get away again!

L’hébergement je ne vous conseil pas d’y aller nous somme rentré dans la chambre et en somme ressorti aussi vite fourmis partout pas de serviette pas de papier de toilette douche rempli de sable air climatisé ne fonctionne pas ou presque les cintre pour accrocher le linge tous rouillé là porte ne ferme pas bien on voit dehors les rideaux aussi bien dire qu’il n’en a pas le planché était mouillé comme si il l’avais arrosé avec un boyaux d’arrosage le lit était remplis de cheveux , de fourmis le lit étais tous trempé comme si les draps n’aura jamais été dans la sécheuse on demande à l’hôtel de nous rembourser ils ont refusé hôtel .com aussi on refusé de nous rembourser nous avons réservé un autre hôtel le hyatt qui est à 5 min de cette hôtel insalubre le Dream inn n’aller jamais à cette hôtel

The beach access is absolutely top tier. The hotel isn't in disrepair, the room was clean and the staff (2 women) were great. For the price point, we will be staying here anytime I'm in Daytona.

Fantastic location right on the beach. Easy access and parking was not an issue.

Overall, I would rate it a 3, if you are looking for a 5 star resort or a quaint bed and breakfast this would not be for you. It was okay. The parking is terrible, there is limited parking and you will be blocked in or block another car in. There are restaurants in the area, so we parked and walked everywhere. It's right on the water and the balcony was our favorite! Extra cleaning and pest control would help!

Parking was my only issue. But if you are going to just relax at the beach and don't need to leave regular the parking is durable. The room 135 was the bomb, ocean view, poolside all in one package.

I got this room for my son, so he could relax for his birthday, he said the lady Tiffany was very nice and chill, even tho he felt it wasnt an upscale hotel he said he would stay there agin, and the bed was very comfortable and thought that the owner did a nice jib of making the place nice . My son did not use the pool the room was clean and he was happy.

The air conditioning units were rusted and barely functioning in our room. No beach towels, not even enough bath towels. 3 people had to share 2 towels. One guest outside asked for a towel and the check in person had to go get her personal towels and hand them to them. The hairdryer caught fire, REALLY BADThe next morn, the owner Nick was screaming at the girls Tiffany and Shay about them stealing his phone charger. Really I got woken up to him screaming about some charger. If you have to scream at women over a charger and your holding business is a tragedy. No wonder it was on Hotel Impossible and went downhill after change of owner. Place has more caulk than a hardware store.

This is the best kept secret in Daytona , not a resort it’s a clean budget friendly inn w good location to south pier and whoever owns this property hats off to you

It’s a little oasis and it’s in a section of Daytona Shores that is perfect. You can walk on the beach to various tiki bars. There’s a 7-Eleven right there. The pool is private. The space is very very cool and the staff works their butt off. There’s a couple glitches here and there, but they make up for it with how attentive they are.
