Hampton Inn Daytona Shores - Oceanfront

I lose to the beach but beach access is closed Beach access being closed , the whole point of a hotel being in front of the beach then is to have beach access, the bottom stair last step was broken but that’s an easy fix.

Clean The construction at 740 am. I went to relax sleep in etc. it was difficult with the guy working. It was loud and it shook the building.

My room is clean. Only the front desk staff was nice. There was a older man by the pool. He was grouchy didn’t even say good morning back. What I didn’t like is that you advertise that it has beach access yet there is no access, which made it extremely hard. Second, there was no AC on the first floor. We had to eat breakfast basically in an oven.. the swimming pool was dirty. The Jacuzzi was dirty. There was mold and mildew on the walls of the pool.. again the no access to the beach. The only reason why I booked it was because it said it would had straight access. But no. The pool area in the morning of Monday an older gentleman was trying to clean. But didn’t pick up any of the towels that were left over , all the trash was overflowing. Haven’t they picked up in days. Also, the gate that gave access from the pool to the beach was closed yet people were jumping over and we were yelled at by that same man cleaning the pool saying that we were going to get arrested. He only said it to my party. He didn’t say it to anyone else yet he saw other people that morning, jumping over the gate. It was just overall not a good feeling.

There was no access to the Ocean due to maintenance. The pool is falling apart on the bottom! Paint peeling and chunks on the bottom! The spa jets did not work! The hand rail on the spa was rusted/broken! Breakfast was good! Staff just said sorry. No real solutions.

Clean rooms Sliding glass door was very hard to open because of rust. We’re shocked by parking charge in addition to the amount I paid. The worse part was there was no beach access. We only found in at checkout. The pool towels were small than a normal bath towel and I think I was almost able to see through them. The towels were small they wouldn’t go around you. The pool has really dirty it looked like a sandbox with googles, hair ties among other things. They only had two tables with umbrellas by the pool and you had to go find someone to put the umbrellas up. The only thing hat was good were the rooms but the day they did clean the room they only made up one of the beds

Absolutely nothing. This place was beyond horrible and should not represent a Hilton name Rooms were disgusting, lobby air did not work, night shift girl sat on her phone the entire time and even when standing you had to say excuse me as she would not acknowledge you. The elevators were very sketchy and out of date for renewal check fee. No beach access. Rooms smelled like pure animals and wet dog. Our other room you couldn’t open the balcony door without using all of your weight to open and close it. The pool was disgusting with so much crap floating in it. The phone don’t work in any of the rooms. Ice machine didn’t work on multiple floors including ours. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR THE PRICE FOR ONE NIGHT!

It was clean and breakfast was pretty good The elevator system was weird and the stairs to the beach was closed. Also, my toilet was broken and I reported to the front desk right after checkout. I had to go downstairs to use the toilet and finally the maid got someone to come fix it Saturday evening. So I went the whole first night not being able to use my toilet

Being on the beach was nice. We didn't have direct access to the beach because two boards needed to be replaced at the bottom of the steps. Most people were just hopping the gate.

The Breakfast was nice and Hot.Im a late sleeper so unfortunately I only ate once out of my 4 day stay.But when I did eat it was quite lovely. I loved EVERYTHING!!!!

Super nice and helpful staff! The front desk staff always greeted us when we entered, a maintenance man kept us from entering an elevator he was about to clean so we avoided a mess someone had made, and the lady who monitors breakfast went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed.

My experience was not what my normal Hampton/Hilton experiences have been. We had multiple issues with our room that were never addressed, although one female staff attempted to accommodate the situation.
