The hotel is nice, the customer service is great and the breakfast is good.

Also, the pool had a ramp to roll in/ walk in if needed.

My wife and I travel to the Daytona Beach area every few months, to check on a relative. We have stayed at several “On the Beach Hotels” this was by far our favorite. The entire staff was very welcoming treating their guests like family. We will be staying here on our future visits.

Wonderful stay. Staff and location were great.

I selected the Residence Inn for convenience of having a kitchen and more room than a normal hotel and that was just as expected. Clean room, clean hallway, elevators, lobby, pool, but the hotel exterior needs cleaning and painting. We did not eat breakfast at buffet so I cannot review, the pool was clean and very spacious with many loungers and umbrellas, and parking was simple.

Nice location and nice check in staff. The room was the weirdest shape hotel room and had to be some design mistake or odd room that they made out of leftover walls. The TV is in the center of the room. The fridge and freezer didn't work. You have to get in the shower and turn the water on and get wet to warm it up. Noisy neighbors (not the hotel's fault). Breakfast food had plenty of options but not great quality. The juice machines didn't work at all. Good coffee. Glad to only be there 2 nights.

Bathrooms need to update...shower and jacuzzi

The hotel was great. Our issue was our room wasn’t ready until around 6 pm. Everyone was anxious to get settled and start enjoying the pool/beach.

This was a beautiful place to stay with spacious rooms, located right on the beach and with a nice pool too.

The property is clean and well kept. The air conditioning in the lobby and bar/restaurant area was out which was unfortunate. The breakfast was very good and the staff handling it was very friendly and efficient. The first room we had was clean and comfortable but out TV stopped working and maintenance couldn't get it working so the next day the head maintenance guy still couldn't figure it out so after a little over 2 hours they moved us to an upgraded room which was very nice and everything went smoothly after that. After the first couple of nights, we left our room at about 10:30AM and left out make up room light on. We returned about 4:30 and no one had been to out room. A little after 5pm when we started getting ready for dinner and showering, a housekeeper knocked to ask if we wanted them to make up the room. We were not able to let them in then. Not sure what the policy is, but that wasn't good timing for us. Other than that, our stay was really nice. The additional charge for parking seemed unnecessary and I would prefer that things like that are included, at least for 1 vehicle. There was a lot of space in the parking lot not being used so it didn't seem to be a shortage causing them to charge extra.

The downsides I’ll note, are that washing machines for the entire building weren’t operational the entire week we were there and I detected no urgency. I only had my kids pack about half a weeks worth of clothes because I intended to do laundry. I ended up doing our laundry by hand in the tub bc I didn’t want to go to a laundromat. The balcony on the north and south facing rooms are comically small and not enjoyable. The A/C vents to the balcony on each side so from a very very small space, you’re getting blasted with a loud motor and hot air. It really only sever the purpose of putting our wet stuff out to air dry so our room didn’t get too humid. However I liked the view. We’ve anlwyas got oceanfront rooms annd this was the first time we had a partial ocean partial water/city view and I liked it. Pretty ant dusk/sunset/night. Also not really a big deal is that the fountain by the pool wasn’t working.

The general manager is a gem. Very special.

Hotel has a bar and restaurant. Rooms were great. Nice and clean. A little further than I expected from the Ocean Center but location overall was great.

Excellent staff and service

The selection at breakfast was immense. Something for everyone! Bartender super sweet-she remembers us every year we visit. Makes us feel comfortable. Every room is a hit no matter which one you book. 15.00 a day parking is a bit absurd when you’re paying top dollar to stay.
