Residence Inn by Marriott Daytona Beach Oceanfront

Great localization, everything beautiful and clean.

The room was oceanfront and it had a Jacuzzi in it the room was beautiful! Love it! Breakfast was good! The lady at the bar was really nice. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and friendly and they made us welcome. Overall it was a beautiful hotel. It was our first time there. Will choose this hotel again when I come back to Daytona Beach Florida.

The location to the beach was perfect It was extremely hot! Inside the building and the rooms. Like box fans were set up everywhere. Box fans at a Marriott!?! I couldn’t believe it. It seemed everything was broken. The ice machines didn’t work, the laundry facilities didn’t work, the gym had out of order machines and the ones that did work needed to be serviced, and the amount of dogs in the building, constant barking in the halls and even the eating area. Very disappointed. Our visit last year compared to this year is worlds a different! Couldn’t believe this experience, especially considering it’s a Marriott hotel.

The room was very spacious but the mattress was vey uncomfortable. It felt like sleeping on a firm surface.

Excellent location on the beach, pool towels and beach chairs can be provided to borrow if available, food in pool bar excellent value & tasty Heat in bar, downstairs unbearable as work is going on with air con not working. Loose shower tap in room & bathroom door locking by itself. Noise in bedroom of air con too loud needed to be turned down to sleep

Nice size pool and hot tub. Right on the beach. Pay for parking.

The lobby was so nice on entering that we knew we were in the right place. The room was perfect, the breakfast was great, the staff very friendly, and the ocean was so close!

Location away from the big crowds.

First, the rooms are super spacious. We got a double queen and with a sofa bed and a kitchen. It was great for our family of 4. The property is right on the beach and has a decent pool. The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus!

Cleaned or sanitized. The hotel shut the water off at midnight leaving us with no running water to use the bathroom or showering and no apologies from staff or management the next day after bringing it up. The hotel violated Florida Statue 509.221(1)(a), Florida Statue 509.221(3) and Fla admin code R 61c-3.001. I will be filing a complaint with Florida DBPR.

Some staff were nice overall customer service could be a lot better overall the location is not very diverse but we made the best of it housekeeping don’t even get me started they never cleaned our room

From the time I walked in and met the customer service representative at the front desk, the ladies in the kitchen area for breakfast everyone was courteous, smiling and were very very helpful. Smiling says a lot The only thing was the drainage in the shower. Had to stand in ankle deep water.

This was a beautiful place to stay with spacious rooms, located right on the beach and with a nice pool too.

I came early to visit my sister who was staying here. So they let me into my room a little early since you need room key to go up and down the elevator. Well, to much security. Couldn't go up and down the elevator without room key and I couldn't get a signal to call my sister in this hotel.
