Hyatt Place Daytona Beach - Oceanfront

The location was amazing and the staff were all very kind. There was black mold on our ceiling, and our room was pretty run down. It would be nice for some furniture on the balcony to look at the view.

had to request a new room upon arrival first room was full of visible mold from ac not working. Second room was better but would’ve been nice to have a couple chairs on the balcony. Lock to the bathroom wouldn’t lock and had to try 3 different floors to get a working ice maker

The new pool deck is very nice and the pool itself is big. The room was clean but a little worse for wear; needing updating. Breakfast was good with a different variety each day. Wonderful oceanfront views and convenient location. We had to ask for toilet paper and towels a couple times as they don’t do a complete room service daily. Overall, we’d stay there again.

Room was cleanish, and the staff were helpful. Elevators were acting up and it made for a lot of wait time to move around.

Traveled alone, had an oceanfront room which did not disappoint. Very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be back!

Booked an ocean front room and could not use or enjoy. No furniture on the balcony to enjoy the view. Did not offer to get me any. The phone did not work properly. Room not cleaned on a timely basis, had to go to front desk several times. Air conditioner had to be turned off as it constantly ran and caused everything in the room to be damp. All our clothes and bed sheets. I have stayed in almost all the major hotels on the Shores, and this is one I will not return for a stay.

Shower had mold in it, AC unit for the room was so loud it rattled over the sound of the ocean waves, hotel staff was entirely unhelpful with any questions we had

It was a false advertisement about the pool and beach access. They are doing renovations so there is no pool and you can not access the beach from the hotel. There was nowhere for you to shower off before entering the hotel, and you had to walk a good way to get to the beach. There were only 2 elevators with lots of people staying there, and you could not get an elevator. My husband and I had to take the stairs with a wagon and luggage to get downstairs. Also, there was not enough parking for everyone staying there, so you had to park across the street at Red Lobster.

Hotel was reasonably priced, easy check in, beautiful view of the ocean, easy access to the ocean. The only issue was the hotel didn't open the pool area until 8am, and you need to go through the pool gates to get to the beach. I wanted to see the sun rise at 7am, and they told me I would have to go over a small wall on the property line and then gain access to the beach through a public entrance. This was not ok, and would not be ok for an elderly person who couldn't get over the wall easily.

The room smelled very very moldy. Also the under lip of the sink was completely covered with mildew and mold.

nothing honestly thats why we didnt even stay and i ask for refund and they wouldnt want to even give back even when we didnt stay realy bad and unsafe place wouldnt recommend it .
