Ocean Walk Resort Condos

A lot of fun for kids, between the pools / slide / lazy river - my kids didn’t want to leave the property to do anything else during our stay. Building looks a little older and things could use some updating but we would return!

The hotel was excellent. The timeshare group was rude, arrogant, and overly pushy.

This was our first stay at Ocean Walk Resort. We stayed because our family was staying and they have young children. It was a perfect location for them. Staff was very helpful and the facility was clean.

Outside pool area nice but very crowded hard to find a place to sit.

Lazy river, waterslide, pools are great

Booking the condo was easy, price was affordable for a direct oceanfront unit. However, the BIGGGGG issue was that the owners went in the unit with no advance notice and no emergency. They “tried” to call me, I was not available to answer so they took it upon themselves to enter our unit that we rented, without our permission and without proper notice. The reason they intruded on our space was to deliver a chair. A chair. That very well could have been planned when the unit was not occupied. Additionally, the 17 emails and 7 text messages regarding this booking were a nuisance and unnecessary. The number of messages to me was inappropriate, and when I asked a few questions of the owners, they did not respond with answers needed regarding check in and parking. I won’t be booking 505 again. The sunrises were gorgeous! The pool and beach were fun! The lifeguards are worth every penny they earn with all those rescues they did.

We definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The kids loved the indoor pool in the N tower. They were less than impressed with the slide and lazy river. Younger kids appeared to enjoy it. Very convenient to the beach as well as the shops next door.

After checking in,you must go get wristbands.Then they sale you on timeshare offer you stuff for free but charge your credit card for you to show up.Would be OK if what they charge you and what the true cost it not the same.Also cabanas and umbrellas are not the same pay for cabanas get umbrellas.

Was a great unit .. very clean and had everything we needed for our week stay

I love access to the Beach glad they got the handicap accessible ramps fixed.. Do not like the extreme long waits for the elevators and they don't enforce their rules about reserving the lounge seatings. People come out early and start reserving the seating areas then they leave and return. They need to do better about enforcing their rules.

I've been going here for the last 5 years and this is the only time that I didn't like the room. It looked like it was in the middle of remodeling. There was no kitchen cabinet under the sink. There was no cabinet in the bathroom. Half the burners on the stove didn't work. The ones that did took 10 minutes to get hot. Don't stay in room 405 for awhile. Maybe they will finish it.

The overall hotel property was very clean and the staff was professional. I was able to park and enjoy the hotel amenities prior to our room being ready and then the day of check out, we were able to stay at the property and was given a temporary key for the resort. The room itself had broken floor tiles, a stained chair, and a shelf was broken in the fridge. The owner answered right away and was aware of all the previous damage. I would absolutely stay at the hotel again.

BUYER BEWARE... They are trying to sell "vacation packages" Timeshares at this resort and its Wyndham timeshares if anyone knows anything about Wyndham timeshare presentations you know how pushy their sales people are! As soon as you check in they tell you that you have to go to a different area of the resort to get your wristbands to enjoy the resort amenities and when you do they start harassing you about their 90 minute presentation AS SOON AS YOU GET THERE!!! Theres not a late check out or a early check in at least thats what i was told when i requested one because of my wife getting food poisoning the night before our scheduled check out i really dont have many good things to say about Ocean Walk Resort of course being beach front helps with anywhere you and your family stay but other then that and the Filthy GREEN lazy river there really isn't any true differences between this hotel and a much less expensive Days Inn!

Cons: Check in wasn’t very smooth, took 2 hours pass the check in time. After traveling since 3 am to get there I was beyond ready to get into our room. The wrist band was convenient-I wish it could have been used to open our room door as well-I didn’t like having to keep up with the bracket and room card. I also had to get the two cards recalibrated -stopped working.

The king size bed was awful. It was harder than a rock. Me nor my husband could never get comfortable.

Close to everything Pool rules concerning chairs and attitudes felt like adult daycare

The a very particular about cleaning up the room and taking out the trash before you leave. The hotel and its amenities were great. They served free snacks by the pool during our stay that my kids enjoyed. If you want a chair by the pool you need to get out there first thing in the morning and claim them. Otherwise they are filled by 10am even on a Monday.
