avid hotel Denver Airport Area by IHG

Okay hotel but not great. No one ever at the front desk, can hear everything from your room-people next door and above you.

Hair on walls of shower. Feels like it’s going for an Eastern Europe post-communism vibe filtered through IKEA from 10 years ago. Strange, no frills decor that doesn’t appear to be met with any longevity. Overly firm mattress with a squeaky frame. Shower towels smelled musty in dried out Colorado. Not impressed.

Excellent service with shuttle to/from the airport. Could have used a hot iron and a functional fridge ( fridge was close to room temp. Staff was very helpful.

They have taken every basic need of the customer and created the hotel around that idea.. no frills and I like that.. loved my stay!

Efficient front desk which was great after late night/early morning arrival due to delayed flight. Room was clean. Shuttle pickup from airport was fairly quick.

Easy shuttle service, located nearby a gas station within walking distance. Nice pool didn’t get to catch breakfast. Daily staff check in if we needed towels or cleaning. Nice staff and chill place. Comfy beds, working AC and a nice tv. Well lit and clean.

FALSE ADVERTISING. We booked this hotel specifically because their marketing talked about the breakfast, and specifically that there would be grab and go breakfast foods available during early morning hours before the official breakfast start. When catching a flight, this is very important. The check-in front desk person confirmed that this would be the case. It was not true. The entire food area was dirty and empty of tea bags/drink items overnight, there were no grab and go breakfast foods put out at any point, and once the breakfast items were put out they were skimpy and the entire area was unwashed and poorly maintained. With all the other hotels in the area, this will not be one I wish to stay at again.

This was an overnight stay and it was an average budget hotel. Overall the hotel was clean, but definitely needs improvements as the shower could do with a good scrub and the common areas need straightened up after repeated use. The airport shuttle is a definite plus and it was nice and quiet at night. It is in a walkable area with amenities nearby.
