A what you see is what you get property. Expect what you pay. Older property in the heart of Capital Hill. The staff was accomdating. Rooms are actually nicer than the exterior, however there's a reason there aren't photos listed. Room was clean & everything worked, but did see 2 roaches in the bed. Breakfast is nothing more than coffee, cereal, instant oatmeal, juices, yogurt, & muffins. Made the decision to book this property strictly based on location & price. The homeless freakshow on the streets is colorful but not a surprise. There are a variety of restaurants within walking distance, which is recommended due to ongoing street construction that hasn't improved in the six months since last being in the area. I wasn't followed or hasseled for handouts. Bottom line: you get what you pay for.

That being said, this hotel is advertised as downtown. It is not, and we had planned to do a lot of walking. The cost was $200+ per night. We are not familiar with the area, so based on cost and reviews, we assumed it was a nice hotel and safe. Nope… Homeless and dirty area with buildings close by being fenced off, as though condemned. The glass front door to the front desk area looked like it had been hit with a baseball bat. We declined to stay due to not feeling comfortable/safe. We certainly could not have walked anywhere comfortably, and even having our car there was a bad idea. We were checked in for less than 15 minutes after going to check the room and promptly checked out. I asked for management to call me to discuss possible partial refund. I am totally aware of the cancellation policy, but felt totally misled by photos (lack thereof) and reviews. Management did not call me, so I contacted them. They continued to decline any kind of refund (except to allow us to come back and stay again… really?!… when we still had a reservation with them that we weren’t using… not happening). Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name associated with this establishment. We had to book another hotel, so we payed for two hotels. My fault, but they should’ve understood our situation. We feel totally taken advantage of. Don’t let this happen to you…

Not many amenities, no frills place. Very clean, newly remodeled. Staff was nice. Walkable to many restaurants and bars. Fun time in Colfax area.

Need microwave ovens for rooms
-
Was honestly pretty shocked with the price
-
Fridge makes too much noise in the room. cooling wan not enough, key card deactivate daily even we had paid for 3 nights in advance

The breakfast was not good. We had to ask for spoons, oatmeal. The manager Ariana was very rude, does not have good manners and looked like she didn't want to help, and her facial expression said it all. I'll never stay here again. Also there was Nats in the restroom. Next door facility was partying all night making it impossible to sleep for our family. I would like to be reimbursed for our inconvenience.

It was clean Located in the worst spot ever. So many homeless people screaming and yelling. My kids and I were terrified

Staff was awesome room and lobby are always clean. I dont have any complaints I've stayed at this hotel a few times.

You get what you pay for. Out side entrances, rooms were clean, window air conditioners mine was blowing I think the filter out on the bed. Housekeeping was good. Staff was nice, I would say a 1 night stop it would be great .

The bathroom is small and does not have a fan. For the price point, it is a good value. Coffee and continental breakfast is available. Parking costs $15. The neighborhood is kind of sketchy but within walking distance to many places of interest. We will stay there again.

We like the location next to our favorite dance venue, and regularly stay here. But it isn't a neighborhood for everyone. Late night noise from the adjacent club, homelessness all around. The hotel itself, and its parking lot, always feel safe, though, and we plan to visit again.

Nothing. The property was not as advertised. The pictures were not as depicted. We did not stay in a room because we did not feel safe. If you prefer getting yelled at by homeless people, sketchy area, and bad customer service this is the place for you. There is also an undisclosed parking fee of $15 per night to park your car in a sketchy parking lot. After talking to booking.com the concierge even agreed with our statements and to a cancellation but the manager charged us anyways and would not authorize cancel.

Staff were okay and rooms were okay but the surrounding area is a warzone, people screaming all night and there were several long term residents that ran around the hotel like it was their apartment complex. Overpriced for the dump that it is, stay elsewhere!
-
Inexpensive, not much for breakfast but ok beds. Rooms accessible on the ground floor from the outside.
