Staff was friendly and helpful. One of 2 elevators was broken for a 6 floor hotel, had been broken for 2 months. Long elevator wait times. Refrigerator in room wasn't cold and couldn't be adjusted any colder, so couldn't store food. Bed was comfortable. Comforter had a few old blood stains on it. Room was not well lit. Spacious. Breakfast was reconstituted scrambled eggs, runny oatmeal, nothing special.

Loved our stay at the Hampton Inn Downtown Denver! Staff were nice, valet parking was very helpful, and the beds were so, so comfortable. Would book again in a heartbeat.

This is definitely an older hotel. The staff was great! Very helpful and gracious. But the building itself and rooms are quite old. The elevator was old and loud and stopped working at one point. We have the AC cranked in our room and it did luckily stay cool enough, but the weather was also not super hot right then. So I anticipate that if we went in the very heat of summer, it would have been really hot in our room. Also, it is an older system so every time the air came on it was quite loud. It is cheaper than other Hamptons that you would see so I do believe that they have factor that in. But just know that with the lower price comes some of these quirks. There’s a lot of updating needed in the rooms. Chipping, paint and tile that needs repaired. So not a bad stay at all, just things to keep in mind. The location, however, is really ideal for being close to downtown, but not right in the craziness and traffic and parking issues. It felt kind of segregated from all of that which was really nice. Free parking on the street during the weekend or valet if you want it. Overall a good place to stay, decently priced, but you have some quirks that go along with that. Great staff!

Elevators didn't work! Breakfast was good

The room and lobby were clean. The breakfast was good. The valet parking was a bit confusing and we had to wait around a while for the attendant. My main complaint with the hotel is there was only one elevator working, so there was frequently a wait. Otherwise it’s a nice place

great place to stay in and the staff is friendly. i love the added safety measures like tapping your room key to enter the building after hours and to also ride the elevator. breakfast in the morning was delicious and everything was nice and warm! definitely will stay here again next time i’m in denver!

Large room with child crib provided for my grandson. AC was not working.

Property was in good location. 10 minutes walk to down town. Some receptionist had good customer care and were helpful when approached. House keeping staff were ready to help when approached. The swimming pool was not well maintained. Gym is too small and needs a few more basic equipment.

Must of been an event tons of people Sunday morning in the breakfast area. Coffee ran out tables were not cleaned. The whole time I was in the breakfast area I never saw the staff come and clean tables or check on Coffee with the amount of people In the breakfast area at one time that was a must.

👎 well the only good thing was the front desk attendant (blonde male) knew the area and was extremely helpful. Breakfast was like a tornado hit it with no one assisting in tidying up, the batter for waffles was everywhere trash everywhere. We decided to go out for breakfast. The elevators were broken from the night before. Very unfortunate experience
