Free historic tour was wonderful, staff was very accommodating, bars were really fun! 10/10

The room was clean, but desperately in need of refurbishing. For example, the desk chair was fraying. It's a simple thing, but it exemplifies everything about the hotel. Great location, old world charm, but in need of a little TLC

Great place.

Friendly staff, clean room, good location for our event, delicious lavender London fog & almond croissant. Small tear in wallpaper of room with missing art on bedroom wall. Leaving hooks and holes sticking out. The staff went above and beyond our expectations.

Exceptional

We stayed here because of the on-site spa and we hadn’t stayed here before. The room was ok. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. The spa was amazing. The on site restaurant that served breakfast was extremely slow. The ship tavern overcooked a lobster roll. The deal breaker was that there was a wedding reception there and due to the design of the hotel, the loud music from the reception echoed thru the atrium and the entire hotel until the music finished after 11 pm.

It’s beautiful for sure. A historical landmark worthy to be seen. But there’s hidden fees as it’s owned by Marriott Bonvoy. They charged over $300 in incidental fees for one night and then said oops our mistake. But that charge won’t come off for up to one week. Valet parking is $66. Other hidden fees. The room is sub par compared to any other value hotel. Also, there’s only bougie dining options onsite and most close after 5pm. But the hotel itself is beautiful.

Timeless elegance. Beautifully appointed, a true gem!

The room was not stocked with the basics like hand towels. When we drank the water bottles in the room that was never restocked nor was the used cups replaced. The did not refill the coffee with reg coffee that we drank the night before. It was our honeymoon so we made one complaint but overall we were not happy but a bit. We were just trying to make the best of what we had.

The breakfast has a good variety of up scale and traditional American type foods. Servers were very attentive and extremely polite. No Vegan options other than oatmeal and fruit. Would be very nice if a dairy-free egg option or plant based bacon/sausage was offered as well.

Love this place I will be back soon. Everything was perfect. Wish the bar was open longer but was great.

The rooms were amazing, the staff was phenomenal, and all the outlets had great options and decor. We went to afternoon tea which is something I would highly recommend. Come back later for music and cocktails in the atrium on the weekends. And you must do the tour for sure! We will be back to enjoy the property further.

Waaaay overpriced for what you receive. Looks like a motel 6 in the rooms, lacking anything that makes it 4 stars in my opinion. Maybe this was a luxury place 10 years ago but not anymore. A legend in their own mind is the phrase this place made me think of. $6 cup of black coffee? Hard pass, I won’t be back.

I was charged a dinner I didnt have there. I was over charged on my stay. To get a manger to take care of it was nearly impossible still dont have a updated receipt. The air quality there is horrible smells like dust through out. Not worth it.
