Homewood Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown-Convention Center

Nice rooms and modern hotel with good location. However, our room had dirty carpet, toilet that didn't flush, and cooling system that didn't work. Requested service several times during our 3 day stay and nobody ever came. Room was never cleaned during our stay and we had to chase down the maid just to get fresh towels.

Room was clean and tidy. Family suite was a perfect size for a family of 4 l (2 young children, 2 adults). Parking across the street was convenient but pricey.

It was the perfect stay! Location, room, staff and hot breakfast was all great. Kevin the front desk manager was very welcoming and extremely professional. I would highly recommend this location.

I loved staying at Homewood Suites! The location is within walking distance to the Colorado Convention Center and 16th Street. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean.

This location was absolutely amazing it was in the heart of downtown Denver and close to everything. The hotel was also very well maintained and clean!

Room was large and clean. Location was downtown with the 16th St mall right on the next block. Walking distance to Capital building. Too far to walk to Elitch Gardens and Empower, but not a far drive. We used a parking garage down the street that was a 2 minute walk for way cheaper than the valet at the hotel.

The location was great for activities we chose. The room was clean, the free breakfast was decent. Happy hour at 550 bar was nice and the Long Island ice tea was fire. Close to food and shops. Will stay here again we I make it back to Colorado.

The room cleanliness

The real issue was the housekeeping staff. They gave us lotion when we asked for body wash and they did not give us wash cloths when we asked for new towels. The cleaning of the room was not done well. The housekeepers could not speak any English, so it was difficult to communicate with them. The breakfast staff, most valets, and front desk staff were great, expect for the front desk attendant on the morning of the 23rd. She was nice, but when I told her about the issues I was having with housekeeping she said that my husband ordered lotion, not body wash. I called the front desk, not my husband and I know what I said, to me she was blowing off the complaint. I did not complain about the room and how it was not clean well or any other problems I mentioned above, just the body lotion.

Beautiful and specious accommodations — the property was reportedly remodeled in 2025 — with a locale that is in the heart of downtown Denver. The 12-story hotel, which is both a Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites, is perhaps two blocks from the convention center and maybe the same distance to the state capital. Valet parking is pricey — $60 — though overnight public parking for $35 is across the street. Breakfast is included and the staff at the site are welcoming and friendly.

Reason I gave a 4 out of 5 stars was the parking. There is no self park and you need to remember to reserve valet service early enough so you aren't waiting. Driving into the valet service area can also be tricky. When there are many vehicles and one is driving a larger vehicle, it makes it even harder to maneuver around.

The bathroom drain leaked but got fixed.. rooms feel much smaller then the pictures. Over all pleasant stay .. breakfast was good.
