La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Denver Southwest Lakewood

Machine for making room keys was broke, so we could only get one key (Inconvenient). Water in shower never got warm consistently. Breakfast was marginal. Packaged muffins weren’t good.

Early morning staff is awful, asking them for anything is like asking for a kidney= god forbid you take them away from their phones. Pool

Pool is not open, breakfast is terrible and homeless people sleeping all around the property. Trash and dog poop ever. So disgusting.

Daniel did an excellent job checking us in, and helping us get a close room to the lobby!

Pool was closed and gym only had two treadmills. No weights or other equipment.

We had an issue with our door being "sticky" and tough to open which was not a huge issue. However, we had an employee open our door during the day and leave without closing the door completely. I popped out when I saw our door cracked and she was standing there and said she had no one in this room and walked away. We were luckily in the room so I was able to close the door but if we were not in the room the door would have been open and accessible to anyone. I addressed the issue with the front desk and received no feedback except that "yea that shouldn't happen." Very disappointed with the service. Room was to be expected for the price and location was good but the lack of customer service and irresponsibility on part of the cleaning crew was unacceptable.

The hotel has an oder when you walk in. All the carpets are stained and dirty. The elevator was dirty. Arrived in our room to find our bathtub full of water, the fridge iced over, stained carpet and a stain on the pillow case. Cracked wall plugs and a shower curtain that didn’t closer properly Definitely do not recommend. This hotel is in need of some serious upgrades.

We waited 20 minutes to check in. Many people standing around. Manager whipped his truck into the parking lot almost hitting our rental car. Then he walked in with a huge Bowie knife strapped to his thigh. We never checked it. Cancelled our reservation and booked elsewhere.

The room was dirty the refrigerator looked like someone beat with a hammer and was falling out of its space the tile on the floor was coming up and it was filthy there was mold in the shower it did not remotely look like your picture we booked 2 nights and could not stay the 2nd night I called your customer service people on 07/23 she said she would on refund for us we show manger at hotel he said he would authorize a refund I will be calling you we booked the 2nd night thru you at La Quinta I have been a customer for several years extremely disappointed

Staff friendly, breakfast good and fresh, room was clean and a.c. worked well⁶

Bed was a bit uncomfy, if you're a hot or sweaty sleeper you'll have a lot of trouble sleeping on these beds since the AC doesn't exactly cool as hard as most places do Showers are powerful and good, not the fanciest but you'll get the job done really well Mini fridge, microwave, tiny small tv, for the price, you get what you pay for. Staff was also extremely helpful, be mindful that putting your key next to anything that's magnetic or ur phone or key fob will kill it, so if you'll have to have staff come open your door for you and redo the connection. Overall, it's a hotel, a hotel that can hotel really well. so if you plan to really only the hotel to rest and sleep, then this is the spot.

Everything was good except for the breakfast.. Very limited selection...
