Best Western Denver Southwest

Our room didn’t seem very clean. We had a ripped sheet, missing toilet paper roll holder, big clumps of hair were on the shower walls, and the pool was slippery. It has a lot of potential.

Now for the negative aspects of our stay. There was long dark hair stuck on the wall of the shower (not from us!) that of course was disgusting and made us question the overall cleanliness of the room. I brought it to the attention of the man at the desk (a different staff member with whom our conversation was challenged due to English being his second language) and he said that he would send housekeeping. No apology at all. Housekeeping did come and tidy up but did NOT clean the shower. The hair was still there! Really gross! Another complaint was that the soap & shampoo were the tiniest that I had ever seen and were certainly not adequate for two adults and two children. The breakfast was underwhelming. The juice machine dispensed water instead of apple juice both days. The milk for the cereal was warm. And the syrup packets were all sticky.

The breakfast was the same every day for all 10 days—very limited and low quality. Room 170 is terrible. It's extremely noisy and offers almost no privacy.

It was a good hotel for a quick trip down to Denver. Front desk staff was nice and welcoming.

Room was okay, food was just average. Not enough towels had to ask twice. But it was clean and quiet

Best hotel around

The room was comfortable, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet. They had a beautiful pool and hot tub. The outside entryway were pretty dirty and looked like they hadn’t been maintained in quite a while

Great location for red rocks .

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. We came from a hotel that was terrible, and I wasn’t sure how this one would be. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean and they had a lot to offer for breakfast. It’s dinosaur themed, so kids would love it. The hotel is a little dated, but everything is kept very clean. I didn’t use the pool or the gym so I cant comment on the amenities. I would definitely stay there again.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. Complementary Hot breakfast every day.

Breakfast was mediocre. Coffee was terrible. Air conditioner was extremely noisy and we had to turn it. Property is very outdated

It was clean and comfortable, great location and the staff was so welcoming and friendly Everything was great

We didn’t know until we arrived that the hotel had a dinosaur theme. Great if you have kids that like dinosaurs. The breakfast bar had more choices than we were expecting. It was great each day we had it. The staff was very polite and helpful as well!

Pictures showed a chess board and checkers board for entertainment. Neither were there. Bathrooms are extremely small. Breakfast ended early each day, so we had slim pickings. Good selection of apps and channels on the tv. Cool dinosaur fossils everywhere and murals in the back of the hotel.
