Such a fun experience for dinosaur-enthusiasts! My toddler had so much fun looking at the dino bones and playing in the sand pit

I was book for 4 days but only stayed 2. The Air Conditioner made a funny noise. When I told the Staff. He said it was the compressor. It was awful trying to sleep we were to exhausted to leave after a long drive from Texas. After that we checked out early.

Front desk was kind and personable. The room was nice and clean. The pool and hot tub were great. Our breakfast was delicious; stocked and hot. Overall a great experience.

Moved the night stand to plug in cord and there was trash under stand. Other than that everything was great.

Location was especially convenient for our needs. Breakfast was fine but the staff sometimes had trouble keeping up with the diners' needs. Overall, they did a good job keeping the food stocked and with cleaning, except when the crowd was heavy.

I considered complaining but based on interactions I observed the staff had with other guests I was not confident that I would get an adequate resolution.

Fossil deco theme was interesting! Stuff was friendly and efficient. $25 early check in fee. Apparently after some discussion with housekeeping, the room was ready but we were still charged the fee for a 2 hour early check in.

Room was clean. Couldn’t figure out the TV. Breakfast was actually pretty decent!!

Tl;dr - Great staff, comfy room. Highly recommend for a no frills, homey stay. First, I had no idea when I booked that the hotel doubles as a mini dinosaur museum. I so enjoyed the many replica dino skulls and decor. Pays tribute to the fact, unknown to me until the folks I was visiting shared, that Denver has been a hub for paleontology since the 1800s. Every single member of staff - from the front desk, to the cleaning crew, to the kitchen - was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Shout-out to Max for noticing on the hallways cameras after my check-in that I was lost, and coming to rescue me 😄 The room: Very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, and well-stocked each day with towels, coffee, cups, etc. No having to beg for room service or extra linens. Room service was automatic every day, done very well. And this is the ONLY place I recall ever staying that supplies REAL, multi-ply toilet paper!! I'm talking, the same quality that I buy for my house. At first glance, breakfast looked like a typical hotel breakfast, including eggs, sausage links, cereals, waffles, etc. But to my surprise and delight, I discovered a covered pot, and when I peeked inside the chef explained that it was a Mexican green chili. There were warm tortillas to go with it, and a variety of hot sauces to complement it.

Great location. Breakfast was good for a basic Continental breakfast. However there was no tea available. Generally a comfortable stay However for that price range I hoped for a little more comfortable mattress.

After checking in I discovered front desk only issued one key even thought I was traveling with a friend and booked a room with 2 beds, My friend left on an errand with the one key so I approached the front desk requesting another. As he issued the additional key he explained the original key would not work and I would have to return to enabled it, so I requested he make 2 functional keys and questioned why he didn't make two keys initially. In an angry voice he told me that if 10 people checked in he would not make 10 keys and if I didn't like it I could leave and threw the 2 keys at me landing on the floor, repeating if you don't like it you can leave. The conversation went downhill quickly and ended with him running to his cubby hole behind the front desk like a little girl screaming get out repeatedly. I sent a note that night to the hotel management about my experience, that was 5 days ago...crickets! There are so many options for a motel in Denver that I recommend you try any one of them before staying here. I will never return here or any other Best Western.
