The Maven Hotel at Dairy Block

We had an outstanding experience at the Maven. The staff was fantastic especially Sydney. She was super nice, extremely caring and made some outstanding dinner recommendations. Even as we came back each evening, she greeted us like she had known us for years. The rest of the staff was great too, but Sydney really stood out!

The rooms were clean and in walking distance to the baseball game.

Our room was very clean and the front desk was very pleasant checking in. We did, however, have a 11:15pm fire alarm in which we all needed to evacuate the building. We were never told by staff or the fire department that the building was safe to re-enter. After being outside and waiting more than 30 minutes to go back into the hotel, the fire trucks drove away. We all slowly re-entered after that. I was expecting better communication. Nothing at all was not ok.

Loved the balcony/patio. Staff was friendly. Would have been five stars, however, they slapped a surprise $100 on my credit card. They explained this was some kind of fee that is paid outside of Expedia. I had no problem with that, it would’ve just been nice to know and not find out by surprise when reviewing my credit card statement. I was told I should have been informed at check-in, however, I was not. I put my credit card down for incidentals, and there was no mention of any additional fees that would be charged to it. When I called to inquire about this, they said they would give me a partial refund. This was enough to stop me from wasting any more time fighting the issue, but it’s not enough to make me want to go back. The property is nice, I’m just not a big fan of surprise charges.

The hotel is gorgeous. The coffee shop was so handy. We had a breakfast burrito that was pretty good too! Just a super cute place, lots of shops and things to see inside the building.

The location couldn’t have been better—just a five-minute walk to Coors Field and steps from McGregor Square and the Dairy Block. The coffee shop was fantastic, and the complimentary drink tokens were a fun bonus. Be sure to grab the free churros—they’re worth it! The only minor downside was that it could get a little noisy outside, and we could occasionally hear our neighbors. That said, I’m a light sleeper and still slept well, so it wasn’t a problem for us. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I’d definitely stay here again.

Great customer service from the check-in staff, housekeeping attendants, and bar/beverage/food staff…Everyone!!! They were all very pleasant and helpful.

The Maven Hotel was a delight to visit. We were able to check in early and the room was cute and cozy. The staff at the desk was very helpful and the perks such as free drip coffee and churro from the Kachina was were nice treats. We also took advantage of the free happy hour drink at Poka Lola and had lunch at the Milk Market. It's in a great location and we made frequent use of the in and out valet (tho that seemed pricey at $59). We loved the area around the hotel and it was walking distance to fun bars and restaurants, not to mention the Rockies stadium and Union Station. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

The room could have been cleaner, but it wasn’t gross. The staff was nice and the location was fantastic!

Charged early arrival fee without advising they were doing so and double charged for food that was charged to our room.

Location was outstanding and staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. My daughter and I felt safe and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay very much. It was pricey.

Location can't get any better. Free coffee in the morning and complimentary alcoholic beverage in the evening was an awesome perk!
