The cleanliness and friendly staff. I left my jacket, I was surprised it was still there 6 hrs after I checked out. It was a little pricey

New hotel with a beautiful city view from the 9th floor. New, but needs attention. No hot water from the sink to shave with. The shower was very hot. The toilet paper holder is falling off the wall. The dumpster removal people came WAY TOO EARLY. So much for a restful morning. $45 for parking is absurd. Only 2 packages of coffee in the room. Stupid “barn door” on the bathroom….doesn’t anyone understand the purpose of a bathroom door???? It’s privacy. And to keep noises and smells confined. Why is there squirt soap in the shower???? Hotels tried that in the 1980’s and everyone hated it. Guess what…..we still hate it. Room was exceptionally small. No luggage racks. I had to put my suitcase on the floor (blocking the entry door). Glad there wasn’t a fire. A square toilet. Nobody has a square bottom, so why would you install a square toilet?? Far overpriced for what you get. Worth about 1/2 what I paid.

Staff was so nice, rooms were spacious with average beds, didn’t stay long enough to try out anything they had to offer but very satisfied!
-
Everything was amazing and immaculate. The only thing was the price of the room I paid due to events in the area. It was very expensive- as I looked at the prices the day after to possibly extend our stay.
-
The cost was to high for what you got.
-
Everything was good but the bar staff not super friendly.

I had a wonderful stay in Detroit at the AC Hotel to see a concert at Little Cesar's Arena. The AC Hotel was awesome, clean & great location! It is within walking distance of the arena- a quick 7 minute walk. There are resteraunts and nightlife nearby. The next time I am in Detroit, I will definitely be staying there.
