We really enjoyed our stay! The only negative was the coffee pot. It wouldn't grind the beans so no morning coffee for us 😞

I was impressed with the hotel until I pulled back the comforter to go to bed. It was disgusting! There were nasty radish stains on the sheet. It looked like it hadn't been washed. I called the front desk to get new sheets. They brought them up about 10 minutes later. I changed them myself so I could go to bed. To spend $500 for a room that had nasty sheets is 100% unacceptable. The manager did offer a discount on the meal but it wouldn't benefit us as we had to leave at 6:15 am for a 5k.

Great amenities. The only downside is that there are no food options after 11:00 pm. We returned from a concert and learned room service closes at 11:00 pm. The surrounding area only offered sketchy pizza-by-the-slice options that closed at midnight. Couldn't do Door Dash because of traffic gridlock after the concert. Staff was very friendly, excellent room.

Best place to stay when visiting downtown Detroit

The room was excellent. We appreciated the sound machine and water jug in the fridge. Bed was comfortable and pillows were excellent!! And I’m picky 😅 We will definitely return next time in Detroit.

Such a beautiful building that has been preserved in the heart of downtown Detroit The rooftop bar was impossible to get into - that was disappointing
