Home2 Suites by Hilton Dickson City Scranton

We stayed here for parents weekend for Scranton because we waited too long to book. Not were we happy we did! This place was very clean and the room was set up so well with the kitchenette and bathroom and lights. Really was very nicely done. Front desk was very nice and helpful as well.

small talk. The building was nice and secure as well. A great place! Highly encourage.

Very clean and friendly staff No complaints

Exceptional

On this trip we utilized the washing machine as well as the hot tub, and had breakfast one morning. We did not notice the “pet smell” that we did back in July.

Easy check in and out. Right off highway. Clean and comfortable.

Was a nice room and the staff was great!

The pool pumps were not on and the hot tub was so filled that if 2 people would go it the pumps would stop working cause there was too much water. When asked the staff they seemed annoyed and nothing was ever done

Outstanding place with unexpectedly beautiful views

My stay here was delightful. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. It was very clean. I would stay here again.

Everything was very good

Nice and new. Great gym. Big rooms.

My wife and daughter stayed here two nights - and the room smelled like a dog had been staying there. Other than that, they thought the stay was fine.

Clean, friendly, and convenient!

Great place to stay. Great view from the room.

Bad

Unfortunately, we experienced a very disturbing incident at the pool that cannot be ignored. We were in the hot tub with our 3-year-old son and another family with children when a woman suddenly became physically aggressive toward a man. She kicked him, threw his phone into the hot tub, screamed profanities, and continued yelling in front of several young children. One of the fathers asked her to calm down because children were present, but she continued using offensive language. My wife immediately went to notify the front desk. Although someone may have been sent downstairs, no employee ever came to check on our family or the other family to ask if everyone was okay. The children were visibly frightened. Our 3-year-old became so scared that when the man later returned to the pool area, he started crying and hid behind me because he thought the frightening situation was happening again. I understand that the hotel cannot always prevent guests from behaving badly. However, I do expect the hotel to respond appropriately when a violent disturbance happens in a family pool area. At the very least, checking on the families involved and making sure everyone felt safe would have shown genuine care for your guests.

Superb

U

The room itself was very nice, the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean Im pretty sure the floor was softer than the mattress. We even tried the pull out bed which was less comfortable (but about what you would expect for a pull out bed). My boyfriend wound up sleeping on the sofa after we put it back together because of the three options it was the most comfortable, which isn't saying much
