Days Inn by Wyndham Scranton PA

The stay was horrible, if it wasn’t for the fact of driving 5 hours after work with my 2 kids and having to be up and out by 630am the next morning I would of searched for another location. The bathroom shower and tub was filthy, the room felt damp and smelled moldy, there was vomit inbetween the bed and the center console that someone tried to clean that somehow made it worse. I was genuinely afraid to let my kids do anything but sleep, I checked out the next day. Definitely will never go back there again.

Breakfast needs to improve

Bedrooms were horrible, with cockroaches and not maintain at all. We reserved 5 bedrooms and all the same problem, bathroom not clean at all, toilet with urine. However, the receptionist was very helpful and understanding.

Nothing Where do I get started on this dump of a place???.... I strongly urge you to read this review as well as the other reviews and the owner responses to those reviews.... I, like most people, don't normally put too much faith in reviews, i normally like to make my own judgement, but you definitely NEED to listen to these reviews in regards to this place!!!! I have a case open with Wyndham Corporate and will also be calling in the local Health Department because this place needs to be shut down. Let me start by saying both me and my sister l, who rented rooms 8/7-8/9, are both diabetic and need a refrigerator for our medication. We put the request through booking.com well in advance and stated that it was for medical purposes. Every single hotel that we have ever stayed with , no matter where it was or what name brand the hotel was , they were always accommodating. Not this place. When I first checked in (I got there before my sister) I was told that the rooms were already assigned , and we couldn't have rooms adjoining... and then I was told that they aren't already assigned So I was struggling to see what the problem was as to why we couldn't get rooms together when we had gotten there just after check in began shortly before 4pm... It's not like we got there late at night and all of the other rooms we're taken. And then we were told that there weren't two rooms together that had refrigerators in both rooms and I asked why the refrigerators just couldn't be moved like they are at other hotels since they're not full size refrigerators by any means. To which I was told that the maintenance guy was already gone , and he wasn't going to lift it by himself ( the front desk guy Arnaldo Camacho). My husband stated that he would have no problem moving the refrigerator. Then Arnaldos story changed again and said he had to text the owner and the maintenance guy didn't leave and could do it anyway....

Very poor

Clean , like the Moon Tavern,like the quieter location Pool wasn’t working. Breakfast choice was poor. No coffee maker in room. No fridge

Customer service was awful. Unclean sheets. Security door downstairs was repeatedly propped open to the outside. Brought concerns to the front desk who was not helpful. Was told I had to share a fridge with adjoining room when it was needed for medical reasons. 0/10 would not recommend. Spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere safer and cleaner.

I stayed in room 208. The walls had crayon marking all over, i killed 2 roaches in my room. The air conditioning was cutting on and off all night. The baseboards look like they haven't been cleaned since the place first opened. Pool was not in service. All management had to say was "I'll look into it" I stayed in room 208. Pleasant

The room was fine as usual. We've stayed here at least 20 times & we truly have no complaints about the room. Traveled with my son to our annual family reunion & we always stay here at the Days Inn. As a result, we do look forward to making use of their pool. Unfortunately, on our weekend, the pool was closed due to cleaning & sanitizing, so that was disappointing for us both. Normally, we're late sleepers when on vacation, but the day of the reunion, we left our room at 9 am. However, I guess that still wasn't early enough as the cleaning svc didn't make it to our room that day. My son took a shower before we left for the reunion & wanted to shampoo his hair. Unfortunately, the bottle of shampoo that is anchored to the wall was completely empty. Also, we don't care for the new TV svc that they switched over to a yr or 2 ago.

Breakfast wasn't good. Stale cereal. Very limited options Pool and hot tub our of order. No fridge in room. Worst of all, on the morning of checkout, there was a large cockroach in my bathroom

It was basically dumpy smoke filled no amenities was a bad choice all around

Location Room was not what expected paid for a Jr suite it was nothing but a king size bed didn’t even have a little dinner table. Had a ass to get a mini fridge put in and very dirty in the bathroom.

Nothing. We had roaches in our room

Location Rundown, front desk unfriendly, elevators not working properly, stopped at unpressed floor. Advertising did not mention rooms did not have refrigerator or microwave. Carpets where damp. Asked front desk clerk to extend a day told couldn't and late checkout was also denied. Flat out said "no" as if I was a burden asking.

Good location I found bed bugs and they acted like it didn’t matter to them. Still waiting on my refund! I will never stay again
