Dirty pool water, it looked extremely unkept. Key cards get wiped if next to cell phone/ electric devices, and have to be reprogrammed at the front desk. Bedding felt soggy. Air conditioning was underperforming, very muggy/humid in room. We will not return.

Customer service (the desk attendants) were some of the rudest folks we've encountered in this industry. Not sure if they're just used to rowdy guests, but we are NOT all the same. There was a hair, a literal hair, planted perfectly atop one of the pillows

The cabinet where the refrigerator is located was about off the hinges. The headboard was scratched up. Then a train comes through early in the morning and disturbs your sleep but that’s not the worse!!! We woke up to ANTS in the bed. I went to the front desk quickly and was asked was I eating in the room? Are you serious!! I will never stay at this hotel again

The stay was okay would not stay again pool was good for kids but the breakfast was terrible eggs were watery only one meat choice and basically bagels. Which the cook would not put out more bagels because it was 9:15am and breakfast ended at 9:30am she said because they were frozen and she didn't want to put them out. My aunts toilets would not flush and they said they DO NOT have maintenance on staff at night and they would give her a plunger to do it herself! When my aunt asked about some type of comp service for the room due to the toilet not flushing and her having to go in someone else's room every time her and her children had to use the restroom they said no you can call corporate. FYI this is also a family owned hotel they live there so if you leave a complaint at the front desk like we did its most likely going to get thrown in the trash because they are all related and nothing will be done!

Great room, but some breakfast items were not available up to 30 minutes prior to breakfast close (9:30).

The second room, a double queen, had some issues. The first night, the key did not work and the toilet barely flushed. We had her reprogram the keys and it worked. The next morning, the toilet did not work at all and the key once again wasn’t working. We choose this hotel whenever we go to Kings Dominion because of the indoor pool, proximity to the park, spacious rooms and reasonable prices. So it’s sort of frustrating to have these issues. When a member of our party went down to complain about the toilet, she asked if he was checking in or checking out. She didn’t seem to understand that it was neither and we just wanted the toilet and the key fixed. Other than that, no complaints and we will definitely choose this property again but tempted to try the Gardner by IHG for our next trip. I would still rate this hotel great for families and its location right off I 95 is ideal for pit stops and coaster fans!

The hotel entrance is well kept and clean. The rooms in the other hand are dated and worn. Things like security latches are broken off and the bathrooms are in desperate need of an overhaul. Breakfast is from 6:30-9:30. But by 8 am it was empty and not refilled. Also the hotel was majority empty but there was no wjeee near enough seating.

A notre arrivée en soirée, l'hôtel nous a offert des biscuits, délicate attention. La chambre est belle et propre, avec une grande salle de bain.

Staff were prompt, friendly, and helpful. Facilities were modern, and impeccably clean. Also no one seemed to mind that my kids and several others were having a ball in the pool at 1130. Can't say anything bad. It was a great.

Tv remotes don't work

Room was very clean and beds are super comfortable. The pool was pretty gross. Not sure what was in it but it looked like a greasy film. I picked this place specifically for the pool and ended up not being able to use it so that was very disappointing.

Arrived in the evening and something was immediately on my radar about this hotel and it's inhabitants. Got in our first room 225 and the air conditioning was leaking on he carpet and making a very, very loud noise and would shut off. It was a very hot day and we needed a room with air condition. The bath room had a major slit in the ceiling covered with painters tape, the bathroom was immaculate. There were children running back and forth across the ceiling as if they lived there, making a crazy amount of noise at 10:00 PM at night ( this was the ultimate clue that this is not a hotel but also a interim housing hotel along with peep holes in all room doors. I went to the front desk and asked for our room to be switched due to the air conditioning and kids running around, we were upgraded to room 306. I asked the woman if people were living in the hotel and she said yes, at which point I told her that should be disclosed to people booking on Expedia. I personally do not like the element of staying in a hotel that is also used for transient living. It does not feel safe and brings an element that is not conducive to the average traveler. The bathroom in room 306 was very clean. I would not stay here again.

Common spaces need cleaning

It was all very nice. I wish breakfast lasted longer. Like maybe 1030 instead of 930.

Decent for the price. A little run down, but cheap. It was what could be expected for the price.
