Nice place especially close to the amusement park

They need new ownership and management at this location. The IGH brand is very much being negativity impacted. My husband said, this place seems like one of those hotels that you pay for by the hour. This place SUCKS Oh and on the hottest weekend in years the AC was broken in several rooms.

The empty parking lot and lack of any process at check in (literally handed me a key without any ID or CC on file) should have been my first red flag. We checked out within 2 hours of checking in due to the decrepit state of the place. The carpets and bedding were covered in massive stains, paint peeling everywhere, a wet dirty towel in our room, multiple bugs found, door knob was dangling off the door, shower curtain covered in mold ... I could go on and on. The walk to our room was concerning as the hallway was missing many ceilig tiles, doors were torn apart, there was a staff room with the door open that was just a dumping ground and covered in filth. The conditions of this hotel were appalling and not at all as advertised. Person at the front desk could not have cared less. One of my children started crying at the sight and asked if we could leave. We couldn't get out of here fast enough. We chose here for the convenience to Kings Dominion but guests beware. Save yourself and stay elsewhere

The hotel isn’t clean, it’s roach infested, blood on the sheets. This place is disgusting. To be fair, I made mgmt aware of my concerns, “Aunt Beverly” didn’t care. She didn’t offer any assistance. The hotel advertised a pool, no pool in sight. Only 1 ice maker on property, and it’s broken. This place needs to be closed down, I can’t believe IHG stands behind this mess!!!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!

Our room was not clean initially bed looked worn and urine on toilet seat. We requested a new room, the new room was ok. However they ran out of cups for coffee and orange juice machine was broken. Breakfast area was dirty…. Need more than one person to operate check ins and breakfast area.

Convenient for a trip to the amusement park. It could have been cleaner. The bed sheets and blankets were stained. The sink and shower still had hair in it from the last guests. The pull out bed in the room wasn’t even made up with sheets or blankets. There were 2 adults and 2 children staying and they only gave us 3 towels.

Rude staff, booked two rooms and only had one available. But couldnt check in right away because had to be cleaned, even though it was 5pm and check in started at 3.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was wonderful.

Everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations. Room was very clean and spacious. The front desk lady was beyond sweet and helpful. Breakfast was also good and had good options to choose from.

The only redeemable quality: quiet on a Sunday night and the bed was clean/ comfortable. If visiting kings dominion, avoid this hotel!!!

Clean, good price, good breakfast. Nice staff We juat had a little inconvenience with the door key from one of our rooms, and had to come all the way down to the reception again. Other than that, everything was really nice

Nothing Broken AC, dead bugs on the bed, dead bugs on counter, bugs crawling on the bed.

The rooms are so clean and comfortable. Especially appreciated how our key was waiting for us at arrival which made getting into our room quick and easy. Bed was SO comfortable. Everything was great! N/A

Very Clean rooms nice staff

Location in proximity to our event at Meadow Event Center in May. Shabby public areas, carpet needs replaced, not sparkling clean.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs during our 4 night stay. The beds were so comfortable it felt like we were home. There was Dove shampoo and body wash available to use. We booked a 2 room suite which was perfect for me and my teenage son. There was coffee, hot tea and lemonade available 24 hrs. The linens were soft they did not feel like typical hotel bedding and towels. We were pleased with our stay. We even had a view of the Eiffel Tower at Kings Dominion from our room. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Also, I thought it was very odd this hotel does not offer a bathmat for the bathroom floor nor anywhere to hang up your towel in an effort to dry them if you choose to use them again. Double also, this hotel does not offer disposable plastic cups within the room nor an ice bucket to contain the ice which is offered on the first and third floors. It was these little attention to detail items which frustrated us during our otherwise enjoyable few days at this hotel.
