The room was clean and cooled once the air conditioner was turned on. The shower head was clogged, so not even a full stream of water and if another room flushed the toilet or started their shower, the shower stream became a dribble. As my daughter best explained it, at least we had WiFi…. That was the highlight. We will not stay here again.

Overall met the value a little. It had a dingy smell, door had to be slammed in order to close, TV was very small for the room, front desk had to be called upon check in (understandable enough), and cops randomly showed up (not sure why but probably had nothing to do with the hotel themselves). Overall it was clean and appeared bedbug free and met out needs.

There's no elevator. There was only one coffee pod in the room. The breakfast was only Belgian waffles. Maybe I'm just being picky, but the last tournament we did in Iowa (Bettendorf) we stayed at a hotel roughly the same price that had a much better breakfast, and was just better stocked, I guess? I would stay here again, but just have lower expectations.

The room was filthy…. I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot. The place smelled musty, wet, and rank. I can’t believe we didn’t get housekeeping daily. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where they didn’t at least give you fresh towels. I was told to bring my dirty towels to the manager and they would give me clean ones. Also had to ask for a fresh bar of soap. The wall unit air conditioner barely kept the room comfortable. The so called free “Breakfast” was pitiful. Ran out of coffee…not once did we see an employee come in to clean tables, refresh foods and beverage. The door keycards were mostly defective. Took several times to get them working to open the door. They advertised a bar in the hotel…it was there, but never opened. I would like a refund….not a credit. I don’t plan on staying at a Baymont real soon!

The property is not maintained at all. Mold, mildew, bugs, dirty sheets and towels. Paid for 2 nights through Expedia and would not subject my family to the filth this place provided the second night. AC units do not cool down rooms and staff was not helpful or honest about the rooms. Since I booked with Expedia there was no cancellations or refund for the second night. Terrible experience with hotel and Expedia on compensation for the the hotel not holding up to acceptable staying conditions.

The drain in the bath tub was clogged. I told front desk about it, and someone came to check it. He said he’d come back to fix it, but it never got fixed. So we showered, standing in a pool of water.

If you even think about staying at this hotel, please direct yourself to any number of the hotels in the area or looking at surrounding cities. Reception area was clean and relatively tidy, however, as you turn into the hallways you are greeted with musty smell and dark dirty carpet. Room was gross. Bathroom sink had some sort of a thick, hardened white material like paint or something in it. Spider in the tub. Cobwebs in most corners of the room. Windows look like they haven't been cleaned in years. Spiders in the windows as well. Every time the air conditioner turned on it gave a nice puff of mustiness along with the (surprisingly) cold air. Beds were soft and no signs of bed bugs (hopefully we don't find any by us now soon), but one of the pillows, which happen to be probably the thinnest I've ever seen for a hotel, had what looked like a blood stain on it. Front desk said there was no other pillows or pillow cases! What is wrong with this place? Upon checking out early, heard another guest also upset about the conditions and mention that they heard some guests leaving due to cleanliness which the front desk person had the nerve to say "no, no-one has checked out like that" full out lie. Threw down my key and let them know they could check me out and check out my room if they want additional proof. Ended up staying 35 minutes away in in WI at a very new and clean hotel at a very similar rate to what this place wants to rob from you.

Absolutely disgusting

The last two issues I was to tired and wore out from a busy day to worry about going up to touch base with the clerk. I did send a message to the hotel via hotels.com site but I have not yet heard back from them.
