Room was musty smelling and there was visible dust on nightstand. Sheets and bed were clean though. Bathroom was clean but the light switch was loose in the wall and the door would not stay open. Lobby was clean and staff was friendly. Parking lot was rough and lots of activity really late at night. Didn’t feel super safe but was well lit.

The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful & friendly. They had a very good selection for breakfast. I will stay there again if I’m passing through Dubuque. There was a lot of parking spaces.

Parking lot full of pot holes and hotel was run down.AC in room full of dust. Pool was nice but pant chips where falling off and the step stool felt unstable

The property has recently changed hands, and the new owners/operators are in the midst of that transition. The property was clean and the room photos were accurate. I would recommend to the operators that they re-install the closets and hangers; luckily, I only stayed for one night but if the trip had been longer that would have been a big disappointment and disadvantage for the stay. We didn't eat breakfast at the property, so I don't have an opinion on that, but the food area was clean and looked to be sufficient to serve the guests. I wish the new owners well on this endeavor and I would stay at the property again if I'm ever in Dubuque.

We were in an updated room. Breakfast was lacking. Though if you like waffles you can make your own waffle.

All areas smelled really good. I would call it a light flowery clean smell. The new owner said they are working on updates and it looked really nice. Owner and staff very helpful and friendly.

This was a good place for an overnight stay. Staff was very friendly. The hotel is looking a little worn in areas. The bed was comfortable but the air was difficult to maintain a good temperature. Overall it was fine for our overnight stay.

It was odd. The room we were in #214 did not have a closet, armoire or even a clothes pole to hang up any clothes. Haven't seen that before. The room had plenty of space to to put an inexpensive clothes bar on the wall. No meat for Sunday breakfast.

Breakfast was pretty spartan and not the best quality - even for a no-frills hotel such as this one. Also, it was not clear if the pool was accessible as our key cards would not open the pool area door.
