The curtains in my room were shredded, the towels were still damp - and they were all stained with what looks like Cheeto finger prints, leading me to believe they hadn’t been changed from the last guest. The pool was closed; the lights were off in the lobby when I arrived and still off in the morning when I left. 40 minutes before check out the cleaning staff was knocking on the door and insisting I leave immediately. 2/10, couldn’t sleep, wasn’t clean, poor customer service, and a very off putting energy. I couldn’t wait to leave

Woke the man up trying to check in not a huge deal it was a little late. The problem really was that I took a shower and I take HOT showers like turn my skin red like a lobster hot. They don’t have a fan in the bathroom so when I opened the door the steam came out and yes, I know there would have been steam even with the fan however because there wasn’t one at all there was A LOT of steam! The smoke detector is immediately outside the bathroom door, so it went off. They came in as if we were smoking he saw me in my robe. I explained no just got out of the shower. He goes in the bathroom, sees the steam in there and tells me I’m not allowed to shower anymore for the rest of my stay the next morning get denied breakfast because he was getting ready to put it away.

My room was ready enough for me to check in an hour early. Which was nice. They neglected to tell me the room had wet floors. I usually take my shoes off when entering a room. Immediately I knew my socks were wet.

For the price, this worked. It was clean and convenient, but it was clear it had been just purchased from a chain and was changing over. The room directional signs were duct-taped to the walls and the hotel front "sign" was a sagging banner with the town's name, DUBUQUE misspelled. The morning "buffet" was meager and ended at 9 am--early in my experience.

The bathroom smelled like sweat.

Met my needs. Cut back a notch on using Pinesol(or similar) in cleaning...smells definitely too strong. Very clean, quiet, had amenities I need. Construction work appears to be complete.

Staff were polite and friendly. Room was clean. Easy parking. Great location.

The hotel does not currently have a sign. There is a small banner hanging over the entrance. Assuming it’s currently undergoing renovations, but can’t be sure. There are no baseboards, the walls are painted yellow, but look unfinished. Carpet is laid in the hallways but is lumpy. Outlets and light switches are loose, and dirty in appearance. Our tub had black stains near the drain. Poor lighting throughout the rooms so had to use our cellphone flashlights for better lighting. Visible scuffs on various walls of our room. The pool lights were off and unwelcoming all though it was posted that it was open. The lobby was dark with only 1 light on when we checked in, despite it being only 7:30pm. Front desk staff are foreign with thick accents making it difficult to communicate. The hotel worked in a pinch for us, but not a place we will stay again.

Breakfast was average. Pointed out to management that bed moved on the frame revealing a metal slat that you could easily catch your leg on.

Not a good stay. Towels were stained ran out of toilet paper. AC unit cover dirty and broken. We've had better stays at this location.

2 day stay, will not stay again. Property is pretty worn out. Breakfast ends at 9 AM, wish it went until 10, did not get to try it.

Pool paint was peeling off. Rooms were not thoroughly cleaned and sheets had some stains.

Staff were very helpful. Limited breakfast.

Only issue was body wash dispenser was empty

Older hotel but well maintained. Well worth the money.

Room was musty smelling and there was visible dust on nightstand. Sheets and bed were clean though. Bathroom was clean but the light switch was loose in the wall and the door would not stay open. Lobby was clean and staff was friendly. Parking lot was rough and lots of activity really late at night. Didn’t feel super safe but was well lit.
