First of all in the elevator there is a hand written sign that says" When you get to your desired floor HOLD the door open button so the door will open". Then the elevator doesn't stop even with the floor and my first step out was face first on the floor as the elevator stopped about 3 inches above the floor. The room felt like a jail cell, you can open window all the way open (4th floor) and no bars on the screen so a child could fall out, toilet is so low to floor as if you are using a kindergarten bathroom toilet, tub is long but super skinny, no ac/no heat. If room is too hot you have to turn on ceiling fan, TV is around 9 channels and mainly cartoon

I have stayed here many times. This was the absolute worst stay ever. The hotel was taken over by new owners and they appear to have no interest in running a hotel. We had to pry the elevator open to get out and that was the best part.

Room was spacious. Bathroom was the smallest thing I have experienced when traveling. It looked like something that would be in a jail. Building is dark, older building. Smells of smoke. Elevator was interesting. You have to manually press the OPEN DOOR button when you get to your floor. It is close to dining and nightlife and it is cheap. It is a dive motel. Downtown Dubuque. Would not recommend for family travel.

Muy buen precio buena atención les recomiendo

Elevator didn’t work well. Property cleanliness in question. Sketchy clientele. Very old, uncomfortable beds. We tried to go cheap and it backfired. You do get what you pay for so I guess as a silver lining the room was at the correct price point.

The elevator hardly works. I didn't get the room i paid for. I found a knife under the mattress when I looked for bed bugs. I have stayed at this hotel several times but this will be the last time.

Wierd old school heating system. Got pretty cold at night.

The desk person was was nice. There people lingering outside the building on and off. The inside was dirty and dark. The property smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The 5th floor, where my room was smelled very strong of cigarette smoke and pot. The room was very dirty and uncempt.

It was very nostalgic. Room was clean, but straight out of the 50's. They still provided a physical key to enter the room. Bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.
-
The bed looked slept in and the smell is awful. Smelled like smoke and drugs.

Vintage hotel with a good vibe and great location in downtown Dubuque. It's not luxury but it's pretty cool.
