Rooms were excellent but the water park could use some new paint.

My kids, 8 & 12, and I spent 2 nights there. We enjoyed having breakfast on the second floor each morning. The water park is fun, but it definitely needs some TLC. Plenty of parking available on the property. The first time we stayed there, we were on the 6th floor with a river view. That was perfect. Our most recent stay was on the 3rd floor with a river view. It was not as ideal as the 6th so, if you like watching out the window at the river, ask for a room higher than the 3rd floor. The location of the hotel was great for us. Easy to get to everything we were doing. We really love staying at this hotel, and look forward to staying at it again in the future.

Liked being able to walk to other close locations for things to do and see. The river view is something we love.

Rooms were clean but poorly maintained. There was wallpaper peeling in the bathroom. The bathroom and entry door to the room were not aligned properly and you could barely open and close them. There was water coming out of the tub faucet and shower head at the same time even though we just wanted them shower. There was also a faint smell of cigarette smoke even though it is a smoke free hotel. Amenities were good and front desk service was fine but maintenance of the hotel was poor. It is not worth the $312 we paid. Would not stay here again.

Loved the location, amenities, breakfast and impeccable staff. It does seem that the property could use some overall upgrades and though there were many amenities, some were unavailable. The kids club was closed and the waterpark didn't open until 3pm. I understand due to us being there Tuesday-Thursday, but it was kind of disappointing. We found other fun things to do in Dubuque.

We love staying here. Easy, fun, and clean.

The big bummer was that the waterpark was closed the whole length of our stay. So we didn’t get to use that at all. The breakfast wasn’t that great in our opinion. The room was good and the view is always amazing. Great location!

The rooms were clean and had amenities as expected. Knowing this property was recently bought and under new ownership I didn’t expect the high class, but it was very clean, staff was friendly and the property was well maintained. The waterpark definitely needs some maintenance but was still fun and all in all clean and sanitary. The arcade had all sorts of games and a cool skittles machine! Breakfast was delicious, the pancake machine was a tad slow, but otherwise, tasty. My only true request is a way to enter the property from the Riverwalk, once you exit the property before or after restaurant hours, you can not re-enter unless you go around to the front. All rear doors are locked. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay, and look forward to a return to see what the new owners bring to the hotel!

Location is Excellent … Had a room with a view that was nice… lots of kids because of the water park but it was expected .

Excellent riverfront location! Lots to do within walking distance. Hotel itself is definitely due for an upgrade. Waterpark is nice but small and crowded. Felt unsafe in there our last day due to the amount of people! Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast and was always kept full.

The only thing I couldn't find was the Wi-Fi password but we were there for the water park and a place to sleep without electronics so didn't use the Wi-Fi. But never did see it anywhere. There was no book in the room saying anything from the hotel local places to eat etc but we have Google and door dash so not really needed. Overall definitely be back!

The waterpark needs a major cleaning / repainting / rust removal. Staff were helpful, but the breakfast was pretty bad (food largely ran out an hour before breakfast ended, with not great options to begin with; not even cereal or yogurt?). It was HOT in the entire hotel (the air conditioning did work in my room, but it was easily 80° in there when we arrived). Pool does not open until 11am on Fridays (at least half of the guests were baseball players, who had nothing to do for several hours before games).

Pool area was sooooo hot. Absolutely miserable, and there wasn’t anywhere to just swim.

Very good customer service

We went to Grand Harbor Convention Center for a Junior Pool Tournament event. Stay in this hotel for a whole week. Very satisfied as far as I concern. The facility is a little outdated. So do not expect it look like a 4-star hotel. But the rooms are maintain really clean. The breakfast is good too. It is right by the river. So very convenient for a relaxing evening walk. I will definitely stay here again if the event is at the same location next year.

Great room great place awesome water park

Great location. Water park clean and well staffed. Room quiet even though lots of baseball teams staying there.

Solid 3 star hotel. Nothing fancy, kinda run down, kinda dirty, but the kids loved the water park. Water park was pretty much the same as the hotel, kinda run down and kinda dirty but kids ages 7-13 found enough stuff to do to have fun. At one point in the water park music was blaring so so loud it was hard for me to be in there. I did ask an employee to turn it down and they just kinda stared at me like I was an old curmudgeon (which maybe I am but I don’t need a concert experience level music when trying to keep an eye on my kids). When I say loud I mean my Apple Watch keep registering that I was in a loud environment.

The room we stayed in was dated but clean. I have no clue why you would have carpeting in a waterpark hotel (or hotel in general), but it was maintained. The waterpark could use a little TLC, but overall the staff was helpful and courteous.
