Clean efficient room. Very good breakfast with much choice and kept clean.

Check in and out was easy. The room was clean and spacious. The Breakfast had a variety of healthy choices. The staff was quite helpful. The location was ideal for our visit there. The pool was clean with plenty of towels. The only negative was that the hot tub was being serviced and we couldn’t use it.

The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast area could not accommodate the number of guests there. Shower drain was plugged, left you in inches of standing water.

Terrible experience. Front desk person who checked us in gave our room to another guest. Other guest came barging in our room in middle of our sleep. Then front desk person came and knocked on our door amd asked us who was in there! I said you're the one that checked us in to this room. Hotel was dirty, holes in doors, bug eaten holes in curtains light shown thru. Terrible!

Staff didn’t maintain a presence at the front desk.

Location. Easy to get to and from Dyersville. Enjoyed pool and hot tub. Room was not ready at check in and had to wait an hour for it to be cleaned. The room did not have functioning ac.
-
Room had damage to walls, loose floor tiles in the bathroom, water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the thermostat did not control the temperature. For 250 a night I would expect the rooms to be taken care of.

The grout in the bathroom was crumbling apart so as I was getting ready in the morning my feet were getting full of grout pieces. Not great on the upkeep of the rooms

The hot breakfast A 2ft wall next to bed and then a couch is not a suite. There was a baseball tournament in the area and several parents were up late drinking in public areas and being loud. They were also filling large ice coolers.Night desk failed to do anything.

Comfort, breakfast

mixture of renovation and worn-out stuff. shower knob was new but very slow-drain. water piled up during shower. no cleaning done while i was there. window dirty. no ice on the floor i stayed. breakfast pretty good. coffee so so .... all in all way too expensive for the property condition

The only critique I have is the pillows. I am a bit picky about the pillows at hotels but every thing else was good!! I like more flat firm pillows and they either to plush or too smooshie… breakfast was good. Wish for more topping options for yogurt and eggs

Property was clean. No complaints there. We booked 3 rooms on April 1, 2026. We specifically noted in the reservations that we wanted all 3 rooms in close proximity of each other. 2 rooms were for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) and the other room was only for 1 night (Saturday). When we scheduled with Booking.com, we made it clear that we wanted all 3 rooms together. Booking. Com put me on hold and contacted the hotel to let them know our wishes. When we checked in on Friday, I asked if all three rooms could be together. She said the two rooms starting that night would be next to each other right down the hall on 1st floor, but she was unable to guarantee the 3rd room location (which would be needed the following night on Saturday) until the next day. I asked her to put a note in to try to get them located close to us. The first two rooms were together on the 1st floor. The next day when my daughter and son-in-law checked in my husband went to the front desk to remind them that the room should be near ours. NOPE! They put them up on 2nd floor nowhere near the other two rooms. With 24 days notice of booking 3 rooms and wanting to be booked together, one would think that would be an automatic given and it was not. I found that to not be very hospitable. I would have raved about the this hotel had they been a little bit more considerate of their guest’s request. Holiday Inn Express, you can do better!
